Dr. Smith’s eyes scanned the mental hospital’s sterile corridors, his mind questioning the eerie atmosphere. He had been called in to review cases, but something felt off. Especially with Aliza’s file. Her treatment plan seemed…excessive.

As he turned a corner, he spotted Aliza, huddled in a corner, away from the other patients. Her eyes darted up, a mix of fear and desperation.

“Aliza, my name is Dr. Smith. I’m here to help,”

he said gently, approaching her.
Aliza’s gaze narrowed, her voice barely above a whisper.

“You’ll only hurt me like the others.”

Dr. Smith’s expression softened.

“I promise, Aliza, I’ll listen. I’ll help. But you must trust me.”

Aliza’s eyes flashed with a hint of longing, but her voice remained skeptical.

“I trusted Yasmin, and she betrayed me. I can’t trust anyone again.”

Dr. Smith’s eyes widened in surprise.

“Yasmin? The nurse who brought you here?”

Aliza nodded, her eyes welling up with tears.
Dr. Smith’s mind raced with suspicions. Something was indeed fishy. He made a mental note to investigate Yasmin’s role in Aliza’s case.

“Aliza, I understand your fear, but I assure you, I’ll do everything to help. Please, tell me the truth. What’s really going on here?”

Aliza’s gaze faltered, her lips trembling. Dr. Smith’s heart went out to her, but she remained silent, her trust shattered beyond repair.
Aliza’s eyes locked onto Dr. Smith’s, her voice barely above a whisper.

“If you really want to help me, Dr. Smith, help me escape.”

Dr. Smith’s expression turned surprised, his mind racing with the implications.

“Aliza, I understand your desperation, but escaping isn’t a solution. We need to address the issues here, expose the truth—”

Aliza’s grip on his arm tightened, her nails digging in.

“You don’t understand, Dr. Smith. They’re going to destroy me completely. Dr. Khan, Yasmin…they’re monsters. Please, help me get out of here before it’s too late.”

Dr. Smith’s heart went out to her, her desperation palpable. He glanced around, ensuring they were alone, before responding.

“I’ll try, Aliza. But we need a plan, a safe place for you to go. Can you trust me that far?”

Aliza’s eyes searched his, a glimmer of hope flickering.

“I…I don’t have a choice, do I?”

Dr. Smith nodded.

“I’ll do everything in my power to help you, Aliza. But we must be careful. One wrong move could put us both in danger.”

Dr. Smith sat beside Aliza, his eyes filled with compassion.

“Aliza, I know you’re scared, but I want to help. Please, trust me.”

Aliza’s gaze wavered, her voice barely audible.

“I’ve trusted before…Yasmin…she betrayed me.”

Dr. Smith’s expression turned gentle.

“I’m not Yasmin, Aliza. I swear on my oath as a doctor to help you. What’s happening here isn’t right. Tell me the truth.”

Aliza’s eyes searched his, then began to pour out her story.

“Dr. Khan…he’s been experimenting on me…twisting my mind…making me think I’ve done terrible things.”

Dr. Smith’s face darkened with anger.

“That’s monstrous. What else?”

Aliza’s voice trembled.

“He’s been harvesting organs…from patients…selling them on the black market. And Yasmin…she’s his accomplice.”

Dr. Smith’s eyes widened in horror.

“We need to get you out of here, Aliza. And bring Dr. Khan to justice.”

Aliza’s gaze locked onto his, a glimmer of trust forming.

“You believe me?”

Dr. Smith nodded.
