Strong girls

Many of you always complain
Many of you always rant
And we're here,
Us,
Best friends, sisters, girlfriends...

We're here, we listen,
We try to help.
We listen to you
Saying that you've cut,
You've wanted to die,
You've wanted to give up,
Your family is bad,
Your life is bad,
School is bad,
You have depression,
You have anxiety,
You have paranoia,
You're scared,
You're  helpless,
You're hopeless,
Your life is doomed.

But what about us?

Do you really think that we
have a perfect life?
Absolutely not.
Our life sucks as well,
Maybe even more.

Our cuts are secret and deeper,
Our thighs are marked,
By those blades and razors,
A place no one will find them,
The pills keep us company at night,
After endless fights and screams,
After trying not to give up
And break down,
Our tears are the closest thing
We feel,
As they roll down our cheeks.

Then we fall asleep,
Thinking about your problems,
Dealing with our problems,
Hoping for a better life,
Praying for dreams to come true.

Oh no, we don't ask much,
Just for you to understand,
That you're not alone,
We're way broken,
We've shed way more tears.

But when we wake up,
We put up a nice smile,
A smile,
That hides our cuts,
That washes away the tears,
That takes away the pain,
For some time....

Strong girls are those,
Who can walk straight to someone,
And talk freely,
Even as nervous as they are inside,
String girls are those,
Who wake up saying that today,
They won't cut,
Strong girl are those,
Who listen to others,
Saying how desperate they are,
Strong girls are those,
Who keep up their facade,
Strong girls are those,
Who are able to keep their head high,
Strong girls are those who find their
Happiness in the happiness of others,
Strong girls are those,
You'll never suspect of suicidal thoughts.

Strong girls are beautiful,
And deep down,
Each and every one of us,
Is a strong girl ❤️
