Chapter 27:

~ Kendall's POV ~

Been spending days with these kids. I don't know but it seems incomplete and missing something.

"Daddy." Candice says, lightly pulling the end of my shirt.

She's been calling me 'daddy' since then and I'm getting used to it.

"Why?" I sweetly say, kneeling down to her level.

"I miss mommy." She pouts.

"Katie?" I ask.

She nods.

"Yeah, me too." I muttered.

She hugs me as I hugged her back and stoke her back.

This kid is so much attached to Katie. But why did I miss her too? Do I really miss her? Is she the one missing?

~ Mitchie's POV ~

"Bonfire at 5." I say at the mega-phone.

I always love this kind of job even though it's tiring sometimes. My best friend helps me a lot and so are the boys.

Katie often calls us because of her schedule but I understand that. Kelsi is really happy lately and so energetic now. She and James are so cute together. While Caitlyn is trying herself to be busy because of her problem that either me can't do anything.

After I roam around the cabins, I sit near the lake for a while.

"Another problem?" A familiar voice said from my back.

"Logan." I say.

I knew his voice already and he always talks to me whenever he feels that I have problems and I'm glad that he's there to understand me.

"So, what's up?" He sits beside me.

I sigh.

"Come on." He gives me his sweet and gentle smile.

I told him my thoughts about Cait and as I expect he gives me a nice advice to do.

"She'll get over James." He says.

"But it drives her crazy." I sigh.

"I know but it's for her best." He smiles.

"Alright." I mumbled.

~ Caitlyn's POV ~

"Yow!" Carlos taps my shoulder as I jolted.

"Yeah?" I ask, annoyed.

"You really look down." He chuckles.

"No I'm not." I denied.

"Yes you are."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"No."

"Yes."

He widely smiles, like winning something.

"W-what?"

"You just say 'Yes'." He smirks.

"Idiot." I mumbled.

He just laughs.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Why don't we just eat?" He grabs my arm and pulls me with him.

He drags me with him at the cafeteria.

"Sit." He says, going to the buffet table.

Sometimes I don't really understand Carlos.

Being like a kid and having a huge appetite.

He goes back in the table with 2 plates full of cupcakes.

"Seriously?" I rolled my eyes, pointing a finger on the plates.

He sat across me and places the plates on the table.

He starts to dig in kike a really hungry one.

"Do you want some?" He asks between his bites.

I shake my head, saying 'no'.

"You should eat." He chuckles, putting a whole cupcake to my mouth.

"Ah! Why you!" I yell, annoyed.

~ Carlos' POV ~

I like Caitlyn when she's mad. It turns her to a crazy beast.

She keeps on throwing tissues to me while I'm eating.

"Yow!" I saw James with Kelsi walking near our table.

Caitlyn turn around to see who is it then she stand up.

"I forgot to do something. Excuse me for a bit." She says, wiping her mouth and walk away.

"What's with the hurry?" James asks, pointing at Caitlyn.

"I don't know." I say.

They sit across me.

I look at Kelsi and she seems down when Cait leaves.

"Dude, what's with the mess?" He asks, shoving those tissues.

"Caitlyn play with it." I chuckles.

"What do you want Kels?" James stands to go to the buffet.

"Anything." Kelsi says.

James smiles at her and go to the buffet table.

"So, how are you and James?" I ask, smiling.

"He's nice." She smiles.

~ James's POV ~

I go back to the table and saw Carlos and Kelsi are laughing about something and seems they're really happy about it.

I clear my throat to catch their attention.

"What are you so happy about?" I ask.

Kelsi look at Carlos as he like agreed to her.

"Nothing." She says, smiling.

They look like really close that makes me feel really jealous.
