Chapter 29:

~ Kendall's POV ~

When I heard that it's Katie's birthday I quickly get her number from her friends and send her a greeting. I also tried to call her but she's not answering it.

Luckily I have connections. I texted them if Katie is preparing for something.

I think that I'm falling for her and even realize it when she's not around me. She's somehow important.

When I got a call from one of my connections, she says that she's having a party. I wanted to go but how?

I go back to our cabin, wondering around.

"Dude, mind to sit?" Logan throws a magazine to me.

"What's bothering you?" Carlos asks.

"Katie!" James yells.

I sit, still not giving them an answer.

"We can help." Carlos says.

I look at him like saying 'really?'.

"I'm serious." Carlos chuckles.

"So what's with Katie?" Logan asks.

"I want to see her. I want to go at her party tonight." I state.

"You like her, don't you?" He grins.

"I... I just miss her." I lied, but it's true that I miss her.

"Don't be shy." Carlos says, laughing.

"Yeah, don't be. Admit it and we'll support you." James gives Carlos a high five.

"Listen to the lover boy." Carlos chuckles.

"Shut up man."

These guys are no help at all. I just get out and think of something. I really want to go there, I have to.

~ Carlos' POV ~

Half an hour after teasing Kendall, I decided to go to the cafeteria where I usually kill time.

I saw Caitlyn, sitting alone.

"Hey." I say casually as I sit across her.

She nods and smiles weakly.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

"Just wishing that you would go here and make me feels better." She mutters.

"Wow, I feel wanted." I say proudly.

She shyly smiles and stands up.

"Leaving already?"

"Nope. I'll just get food." She replied.

~ Caitlyn's POV ~

After I'm done getting foods, I go back to our place and sit.

"Yum!" He exclaims, looking at the food as I laugh.

I just watch him eat the pizza.

"You don't want?" He asks between his bites.

"Of course I do!" I say grabbing the pizza from his hands and stuck my tongue out.

"Oh! You don't do that to my food." He says.

"Yes I'm." I take a bite on the pizza and munching it really slowly.

"I thought it's all mine?" He playfully pouts.

"Did I say that? I don't remember saying that it's all Carlos." I chuckled between my bites.

Carlos always makes me feels better just his small jokes can do. He's always so worry-free that's why I find him great.

~ Kendall's POV ~

I throw stones to the lake over and over.

I deeply sigh.

Damn! I really want to go see her. It's been 10 days without her around. Think that I'm crazy but it’s really different when she's not around.

~ Caitlyn's POV ~

After we eat we decided to continue our worthless conversation outside while taking a walk.

"So, that's how you prank them?" I chuckle.

"Yeah, then they're all mad at me and wants to kill me." He says, laughing.

While walking I notice Kendall at the side of the lake, he's like thinking. Thinking very deeply.

"Is that Kendall?" I ask, pointing on him.

"Kendall?" He stops that makes my face bump on his back.

"Ouch!" I exclaim, rubbing my nose.

"Anyway, what is he doing there?" I ask, curious.

"I don't know. Let's find out." He grabs my hand and drags me along with him.

~ Kendall's POV ~

"Dude!!" A familiar voice shouts as someone taps my back.

I look at it... Just Carlos.

"Hi." Caitlyn greets me.

I nodded.

"What's his problem?" I hear her whispering to Carlos.

"He misses Katie." Carlos mumbled.

"Katie?!" Caitlyn yells out of surprise, I guess.

I turn around to look at them and raised an eyebrow.

"You... You like Katie?" She asks, shocked, pointing a finger on me.

"I told you I will help." Carlos interrupts.

"Help on what?" She asks.

"HE wants to see KATIE." Carlos emphasizes me and Katie.

"Oh!" She 'o'ed, smiling at me teasingly.

"So what's the plan?" She added as she looks at me.

"Plan?" I ask.

"Plan to see Katie." She gives me a 'duh' tone.

"Adventures." Carlos yells.
