Mathew-

Five Nitaves circle me. They're the regular, weaker Nitaves that we used to fight during Mersidion's reign. I bring down three bolts of lightning, that kills three of them. The other two look horrified and flee. The pair are killed by being hit by a wall of fire, which was created by an unfamiliar Shiner man from Haven's army.

I rush at a boulder, then vaults over it. Unfortunately for me, I land straight into a Nitave camp. The four Nitaves grin and leave their seats. One of them twists a device on his wrist and forearm, and I watch as a six inch long blade emerges from it.

"You shouldn't have come here, fool." The Nitave cruelly tells me. I swiftly get to my feet and retrieve my Shiner gun from it's holster.

"You four are the fools, who the hell sets up camp in the middle of a battlefield?" I say. This gets the Nitaves angry, causing the glow of their eyes to intensify. I shoot the one with the six inch long blade, then another one wielding a dagger.

A knife passes over me and lands in the gut of one of the Nitaves. I bring down a lightning bolt that kills him. A second knife enters the neck of the final Nitave, and I kill him with a bolt of lightning.

"I just saved your life." Okelani says, walking over and hugging me. I'm glad she helped me, the Nitaves were most likely going to kill me. We pull away and I take a dagger from the ground, while Okelani retrieves her knives. There's the sound of a ferocious roar that makes my heart beat much faster.

"I never heard that kind of roar from a Nitave monster throughout my entire life." I say in terror. My ears actually hurt from the sound. That's when I see the monster's neck and head. It resembles a stereotypical portrayal of the Loch Ness Monster. It's neck is over fifty feet long and it's head looks similar to a Iguana Lizard's.

"Holy sh-" Okelani starts to say, but that's when the monster brings down it's head into the boulder. The boulder is flung into Okelani's chest. I watch as she is impaled from a Nitave's sword from behind. Then the Nitave decapitates her.

"No!" I yell, sorrow filling me. My sister's head is smashes by the Nitave's foot. This angers me and I create a tornado. The Nitave is sucked into the tornado, his mouth releasing a horrified scream. I whip around and see the reptilian monster stepping towards me. With each step, the ground vibrates below me.

The monster is about to stomp on me, when lasers and other types of attacks strikes it. It roars and turns away from me, it's long tail almost colliding with me. I sigh in relief when the monster disappears from view.

I sprint over to Okelani's corpse, then fall on my knees. I cover my face with my hands and cry silently, mourning. Heavy footsteps meets my ears, so I turn around. A Nitave that is nearly eight feet tall is walking towards me. He is wearing armor all over his body, and I know that he is a male, because female Nitaves are never over seven feet tall.

I curse and stand up. The Nitave has gloves on that glow. He aims his gloved hands at me, then a laser emerges from each glove. The two lasers miss me when I duck. The Nitave sneers and I laugh. When I electrocute him with a lightning bolt, he dies and a grin spreads across my face.

The gloves will be a useful weapon, so I grab them and put them on. I test then out, aiming at a rock and hoping that a beam will emerge. I'm disappointed when lasers don't appear from the gloves.

"Only a Nitave can wield them." Asott tells me, suddenly appearing. I sigh and give him the gloves, which he puts on.

"How many Nitaves have you killed?" I ask him. He takes off his backpack, then unzips it. He unloads the contents by turning the backpack upside down. Dozens of Nitave dog tags drop out of the backpack and fall on the ground. My eyes widen, I can't believe Asott killed over dozens of his own kind.
