The past few days something unusual has been happening.
A couple days ago (I know, been kinda busy so haven't updated), my mom said that she smelled smoke by her computer. She was the only one who could smell it and there wasn't any smoke, or any reason for the smell.
Well, yesterday I was by our couch and I smelt fire, but of course there wasn't a reason for it. I walked in my mom's room, told her, then walked by the couch again and I could still smell it.
A few minutes ago, I was thinking about the history of the house and I came up with the facts that it's only had one previous owner, who we bought the house from. It doesn't have a history with smoke or fire.
And then I got to thinking about my step-dad's mom's ashes that we have. She cooked a lot, so I wonder if it was her. Maybe it was something/someone else, but that's all I can think of on what it might've come from.
