"Hello?"

" . . . . "

"Hellooo?"

"Your uncle does nice work."

"Is this your way of saying thank you? If so, you're welcome."

"This is me agreeing with your opinion of your uncle's work and a plea for you to not hit my car again or any car for that matter."

"Right. I'll make sure to check my blind spots."

"A red parked car is hardly a blind spot in broad daylight."

"So you like the new body work? Will you be a returning customer for my uncle?"

"Way to change the subject on your terrible driving skills."

"And I'm sure your record is crystal clear. I'm rolling my eyes by the way."

"My record is clear. So clear that I get reimbursed at the end of the year."

"Well aren't you a good boy and that's sarcasm by the way."

"Noted."

"And for your information Mr. I Drive Perfect, men are more likely to get into car accidents than women. Proven fact, women are twenty-seven percent less likely to cause vehicle accidents."

"And what's the percentage of women hitting parked cars?"

"You are rude and I'm done apologizing, mister. Your car is fixed and I'm making payments for the repair so you can stop calling me now . . . So goodbye."

"Wait wait wait."

" . . . . "

"Hello?"

"Yes?"

"Um . . . What - what are you doing?"

"Are you serious?"

"I'm on break and I'm bored. Humor me for a bit."

" . . . . "

"Please?"

"I'm . . . painting."

"Painting what?"

"I haven't figured it out yet. It still just strokes on a canvas."

"I'm sure it'll be good when you're done. Whatever it is you're painting."

"I bet you say that to all the girls."

"Just the ones that leave apology notes written in hot sauce."
