"One night, she just randomly called me, and we ended up talking for hours and hours, we didn't realise how much we'd missed each other. She told me to save the payphones number because her parents had thrown out her phone, and it was pure luck that she just about managed to guess my phone number."
"And so the tradition began."
"I guess so."
"Why do you call her Niffy?"
"It's a nickname. She was known for being really nifty and creative, half the clothes she owned she'd made herself. So, since her name was Jennifer, I'd somehow mixed the end of her name and the word nifty, and Niffy was born. The name stuck, for some reason."
"...Her name was Jennifer?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Nothing, that's just the name of m— um, I have to go, I just... remembered I have a therapy appointment. See you later, Nessa."
