AFTER WITNESSING SCOTT about to kill everyone in the classroom, Alyssa acted quickly to stop him, by pulling him out of his wolf state. She didn't know why she has such an effect on Scott when he was transformed, but she didn't question it.
She also didn't know why the alpha didn't kill her like he did with Derek; but she knew that the alpha wanted Scott to get rid of his old pack before joining his new one. Alyssa guessed that maybe the alpha wanted her in his pack as well, as he didn't kill her. She honestly didn't know.

After the police came, everyone from the school was questioned and Derek's body was absolutely nowhere to be found, meaning that he is alive, and had gone into hiding to heal (as that is what they were taught to do), or the alpha had taken his body as a some kind of trophy of some sort.
She was hoping it was the first option.

There was now an APB out on Derek, and Alyssa had to lie and say that she had a friends to stay at, they were planning to take her there, to see if it's true; but she left before they could, sneaking away back to her house.
If they knew that she had no where to stay; she would be put into foster care as she wasn't of age, and that couldn't happen.

Allison had broken up with Scott, not that Alyssa really cared; after they had come into contact with the alpha, he knocked Alyssa out and forced Scott to shift. She had stopped him just in time, by grabbing him and causing him to shift back, he ultimately locked the teenagers into the classroom so that he couldn't get in and kill them.
Allison got all funny about Scott lying to her... If only she knew that he was protecting her and her friends.

They also found out that Deaton isn't actually the alpha. Alyssa had to remember that next time she saw the man, she would have to apologise for Derek's behaviour towards him.

She had been avoiding her house for a while, walking throughout the woods, not wanting to go back there without Derek; but there was no where else she could go. Without him, she didn't have anything.
She made the right decision to go back, as Derek was already there and waiting for her.

"Thank god you're okay." She breathed a sigh in relief when she spotted him, she then ran up to him and pulled him in for a bone crushing hug, which he surprisingly returned, gladly, happy that his sister was safe. "I really thought the alpha killed you."

"It wasn't enough to kill me, but it took longer for me to heal." Derek told her, when they broke apart, he raised an eyebrow at her, "Now, why am I a wanted criminal?" He asked her.

Alyssa shifted on her feet nervously, not looking forward to his reaction, "Umm, well..." She scratched the back of her head, "Scott kind of told everyone that you're behind the murders." She told him, causing his face to fall.
She knew he wouldn't take it well.
