why don't i see magic on the highways anymore?
i remember i used to marvel at the
checkered black and
white streets,
red green and
brown bushes,
glorious new inventions
but now all i see are
dense roads,
ruined plants and
broken down bridges.
does getting used to something mean we lose our interest in them?
does it mean that they're now just ordinary things that i'm used to seeing every few weeks?
does it mean they're now just an unnecessary way to get me to where i want?
to think of it, its the same with love;
1. you get used to them,
2. you get bored w the love they give u,
3. u feel the patience and attention they give u is just ordinary.
even if their love is more than enough,
even if to them, your love is like the stars; infinite.
but to you, their love is like counting stars: a waste of your time.
