Valentina ran towards her room, forgetting to put the knife down. Bursting through the door, she glared at her Hunter who was still laying sprawled on the bed, pillow covering his face. At the sound of her footsteps, he jolted up and yelped as she stalked closer.
"I thought you were joking when you said you were going to kill me!" He cried out in panic and pointed at the knife.
Realizing she still had the knife in her hands, she put it on the desk. "Sorry." He heaved an audible sigh of relief.
Ignoring her useless boyfriend, Valentina looked under the bed and inside the bathroom. No signs of the two furry butts.
"Okay where was the last time you saw them?" She asked.
"Uhh, I don't know?"
She glared and narrowed her eyes with hands on her hips. If she didn't look like she was going to murder him, Hunter would've said something inappropriate. Valuing a certain part of him over it, he kept his words in.
"I thought they were with you!"
"And I thought they were with you!"
Now starting to panic, they tore through the house, calling their names. But the pattering of paws were not present throughout the house. Putting on their shoes and jackets, they walked outside in hopes of finding them.
And the two lovers wandered the town forever, searching for their beloved children...
