A therian is someone who identifies as an animal of some sort. They may look human, which is why you might not always know. Therians are humans on the outside, but on the inside their soul is an animal's.
There are many therians out in the world who identify as different types of animals. There are dogs, wolves, cats, horses, and so many others! How can you tell if someone's a therian? You won't be able to. Having someone show their animal side can be embarrassing because not everyone understands it.
The animal I identify as is a wolf. I know, a lot of therians identify as wolves, and that's perfectly fine. My wolf's name is Luna (why I like to be called Luna) and she's a grey timber wolf with yellow eyes and grey fur with a hint of brown and white. She's an alpha who is very protective. Sometimes I let her take over whenever I feel like letting her.
