I've gotten a lot of questions on why I'm not a furry. Some people are confused and then there are those people who call me a furry just because they don't understand or find the situation weird. Let me tell you the difference.
Furries are people who roleplay as an animal or creature. They don't believe that their soul is the animal. They do it because it distracts them from their real life, if it can be troubling, or they do it because they find it fun. I have many friends who are furries but they aren't therians because they don't identify as animals.
I'm a therian because I believe that I have a soul of a wolf. I'm not a furry because I don't roleplay as the animal. I act like a wolf because it makes me feel at peace with myself. Clearly I don't do it around other people because it can make them uncomfortable. There's nothing wrong with furries at all. They're just human beings who have a fascination with something that makes them happy.
