I wake up to Carson kicking the back of my leg.

"Ouch." I say and Sage wakes up.

"What's wrong? Are you okay?" He asks.

"Yeah, Carson's just kicking me." I say. He gets up out of bed, walks over to the other side of the bed and picks her up carefully and walks out of the room. He walks back in the room without Carson.

"I put her in her own bed." He says getting back into bed. "What time is it?" I pick up my phone from where it's charging. The bright screen blinds us.

"It's 2." I say.

"I'm sorry. I knew her sleeping in here would be a bad idea." He says wrapping his arm around me kissing the tip of my nose.

"It's fine." I say. He kisses me and pulls me closer to him, if that's even possible. He pulls away and lays on his back. I rest my head on his chest and we fall back to sleep.

I wake up in the morning to a sharp pain in my stomach.

Really?

I wrestle my way out of Sage's arms and make my way to my bathroom.

Yep.

My period.

Yay.

I grab a tampon and some pain killers. When I get out of the bathroom I quietly go through my bags so I don't wake up my mom, and find my little rice filled heating pad.

I walk downstairs and put it in the microwave and warm it up. As I'm waiting I grab water so I can take my pain killers. I walk up the stairs with the heating pad flat against my stomach.

Cramps suck ass.

I walk into the room and when I close the door, Sage wakes up.

"Sorry, did I wake you?" I ask.

"Kind of, but it's okay." He says. "What're you doing up?"

"Oh y'know." I say. He looks down at my stomach and his features soften. I make my way over to the bed and sit down. He pulls me into his lap and wraps his arms around my waist holding the heating pad in place.

"Can I get you anything? Do you need anything from the store?" He asks. I shake my head.

"I think I'm okay right now but thank you." I say. The cramps are calming a bit now. Thank god.

"If you need anything, just tell me, okay?" He asks.

"Okay." I say. I tilt my head back and he kisses me. He grabs the remote from off his side table and turns on his tv.

"Survivor?" He asks.

"Yes please." I say. He puts on the show and I relax into him.

"It's not warm anymore." He says.

"Hm?"

"The heating pad, it's not warm. I'll be right back." He says. He gets up, takes the heating pad and leaves the room. I can't help but smile. I'm so lucky to have him.

He comes back a few minutes later and climbs into bed placing himself behind me and placing the heating pad on my abdomen again.

"Thank you." I say.

"You want breakfast?" He asks.

"I'm not all that hungry right now." I say. "Are you hungry?" I ask him.

"A little." He says.

"Okay, lets go." I say.

We go down to the kitchen and he pours himself a bowl of cereal while I settle for a banana. I get up and place the heating pad in the microwave. The cramps are almost gone thanks to the pain killers and heating pad.
