Chapter 18 - Cocky Hero

(A/N: I got rid of the Flight Magic skill on Sora, and used the left over points from it to add one level to the Monster Taming skill. Since using wind magic properly would allow someone to fly, I figured a skill for Flight Magic was useless. I also replaced Healing Magic with Light Magic. Along with those changes I also went back and took Weapon Proficiency (lvl. Max) and renamed it into Weapon Mastery.

Before I was going to make it so the higher the level of flight magic, the more control and speed you had. Instead I will add a wind magic spell to allow flight. Then how much control and speed one has is determined by their experience with using the spell itself.

Sora's race was updated from "Beastman (Kitsune) [Variant]" into "Beastman [Silver Fox-Clan] (Tails: Nine)" Hope you enjoy!!!!)

I woke up to someone knocking on the door to my room.

It didn't seem like Sana or Noroi had heard it cause they were still asleep, and it also seemed that Ikari left my shadow at some point, changing her size to look more like a puppy and was curled up on the foot of the bed.

I did my best to try not to wake the girls as I slowly slid my tails out from under them, and climbed out of bed to answer the door before the person knocked any harder.

When I finally got to the door, what greeted me was the bunny-girl that I talked to last night when checking into the room. Apparently she was asked to wake up everyone in the morning that had checked in after the escort mission. I asked her, "Have you already woken up the Hero Ryouta?" She answered saying, "No I haven't...to be honest he makes me a little nervous after what happened with him staring at me last night.

Then he also kept trying to invite me out for drinks...Usually I'm able to deter them by saying I have a boyfriend already and that he wouldn't like me drinking with other men, but he kept insisting and had kept bringing up the fact that he's the summoned hero."

I sighed and told her, "I'll accompany you to that idiots room after I finish getting dressed." She bowed her head to me saying, "Thank you, Sora-kun" After that I closed the door quietly and kept an eye on the girls as I quickly yet quietly put my clothes back on, along with Pride and Wrath equipped.

With my preparations complete, I left a note on the nightstand next to the bed so the girls wouldn't worry, then stepped out and followed the bunny-girl. While making our way to Ryoutas' room I learned that the bunny-girls' name was Alice.

When we were finally outside his room, I stood off to the side where he wouldn't be able to see me, but I'd be able to see him, and told her to go ahead and knock.

Within a few seconds Ryouta had opened the door and when he saw that it was Alice at the door, a creepy smile formed on his face. I could see that Alice was genuinely disturbed by his smile, but Ryouta didn't notice and proceeded to hit on her, trying to convince her to go inside his room. I kept making motions for her to be quick and to get away as fast as possible, but whenever she tried to explain why she was there he would cut her off and boast about himself.

At one point he actually reached for her and when she backed up he extended his reach, so I stepped in and snatched his wrist. I didn't hurt him but I did twist his arm around until I had him in a back arm lock. With his hand right between his shoulder-blades, he wouldn't be able to move without feeling pain.

I spoke to him with a stern voice, "I think it's about time you stopped harassing Alice, and get your ass ready to leave...we move out in 10 minutes." With that I released his arm and pushed him back into his room, shutting the door behind him.
