(A/N: I have shortened Melianne Cilvine down to Meli, this way it is more enjoyable to read than just having her whole name brought up each time. Also I have been asked "How does the sword go into the sheathe with all those spikes?" the answer I have come up with is that the cloth that wraps around the sheathe comes undone and allows the sword to be put away or taken out, then tightens up around the sheathe when the sword is removed/stored away.

Also, sorry for the long wait, I had tests I needed to do, plus with my new job there isn't as much time for me to write as before. Also I have changed the numerical value of stats into letter values. They ascend from F - EX, with EX being the highest and F being the Lowest. Hope you enjoy.)

While we were rushing through the city with Fhuran, on our way to the castle to bring Meli back to her father, many people kept looking at us, and most would kneel down, while those that were from the Fox-Clan would get down on all fours with their heads against the ground.

She doesn't have the best attitude but I suppose she is still a princess that is held in high regard among the citizens. As we ran, I kept thinking back to my conversation with Noroi. I have made the decision to tell Sana about my true self, but the only problem is when I tell her, and how I'll tell her.

The other thing is, would she even want to come with me to Japan? We were both raised in two very different world's. In Auralel life is a battle, and wars are almost constant. In Japan, there is crime throughout the world, but our countries are currently in a state of peace. Then there's the technological differences that she'd have to get used to. Along with cultural differences, I think it would take her quite some time before she would be seen as "normal" in Japan, but I could just say we are foreigners.

These thoughts continued to invade my mind as we were escorted through the city, and up to the castle gates. Once we reached the gates, two guards stood in our path with their swords crossed, blocking our entry.

"Halt! What business do you have within the castle?" Spoke one of the guards. I guess he couldn't see Meli while she was behind Fhuran. Since Sana and I didn't take on a specific request to fetch the kidnapped princess, we decided to leave the discussions to Fhuran.

Once he had stepped aside and explained the situation, and who we were, the two guards parted their weapons and stepped to the side immediately. As Meli followed Fhuran through the gates, the guards bowed down to her as she went past them. Meanwhile, I was keeping my eye on the guards, and anyone we past on our way to the throne room.

Being able to kidnap a princess from a heavily guarded castle is no easy feat, and the only way to achieve such a goal would be if there was a traitor amongst the servants, or most likely amongst the royal guard and/or a corrupt nobleman.

However, since I have no evidence to support my claim, there is no way I can start flinging accusations towards people. So the only thing I can do right now is keep a close eye on the reactions of whomever we come across. Although, the problem is I am still in the process of growing accustomed to having just one eye. So to make up for this, I am having Ikari keep a look out for anybody that acts strange when they see the princess.

While we were walking down a long hallway, up to a set of large double doors, there was not one person in the castle yet that had acted suspiciously when seeing the princess in the castle.

However, this does mean that there isn't a traitor, it just means that it must not be one of the servants...or at least none of the servants that we have seen the far. With that in mind, I prepare myself for what we might encounter when we enter through the large doors.
