Team 7 (minus Kakashi) wandered around the first the whole day. They weren't very efficient though.

It was late at night that Sasuke found some trails that led to Kakashi. He was leaning against a tree, and a trail of blood led away from him and into the woods.

Naruto went ahead and brought his sensei back to this world.

"Huh? " Kakashi sputtered. One second he was on his way to find his genins and the next he's being woken up?

"What's going on what is this?" He asked.

"Sensei. You were under a Genjutsu." Sakura told him. Sasuke had followed the blood trail to the edge of the clearing.

"Is this your blood?" He asked.
Kakashi shook his head. "I remember Slashing her with my Kunai around her stomach. It was a deep cut. Not fatal, but deep."

I shouldn't have fallen for her Genjutsu. How could I...? Kakashi wasn't sure how exactly he managed to fall under a Genjutsu and not recognise it.

"If it was a deep cut then she shouldn't have gone far." Sasuke said. He held a Kunai in one hand and advanced towards the forest.

"Sensei, what kind of genjutsu were ya trapped in?" Naruto asked him. Sasuke decided to stay back for a while and joined up with their little party.

"I uh...It was a trick. I thought I had captured her, and went on to look for you guys. But it had only been a few minutes and you guys woke me up. But clearly," he looked to the sky, now a shade of blue and orange, "It wasn't a few minutes."

Naruto was clearly thinking. With one hand on his chin, his face scrunched up as if to say hmmm, let me see now.

Which was precisely what he was thinking.

"So, an opposite Genjutsu..." Naruto mumbled to himself.

"Huh? Did you say something?" Sakura asked as she leaned closer. The way he seemed to be in deep thought and after yesterday night's events... It just didn't sit well with her.

"Oh, nothing at all." He said and crossed his arms.

"So it was just the opposite. " Sasuke said. "For us if a few hours had passed in the real world, a whole day passed in the Genjutsu world. And clearly in your case, if the time spent in the Genjutsu world was a few minutes, then  few hours had passed in the real world."

Kakashi nodded in understanding and Sakura followed suit.

"She must be pretty skilled to have done that right?"  Sakura asked.

"Yes. Which is why we now have to proceed cautiously." Kakashi warned them.

"Should we go after her?" Sasuke asked. "I don't want to lose her trail."

Kakashi got up and Team 7 began following the tracks.

"Don't look straight into her eyes. I'm sure that's where she got me." Kakashi was briefing them on how they would tackle this criminal.

"Yeah, we were trapped when we looked in her eyes too." Naruto nodded in agreement. He was actually rather annoyed at the slow pace at which they were moving. At this rate Tamako would slip from right under their noses.

If he known earlier he would have probably sent a shadow clone ahead to take care of her.
But on one hand it was a good thing he did not. After last night's.... Confrontation he would rather not display his jounin level skills. That would like, totally arise suspicion in his whole team.

They finally found her.

She was bleeding out near the base of a tree. Panting and wrapping her torso in an attempt to stop the bleeding.
Of course, it was no good.

It seemed, she was out of chakra. The squad quickly got into a formation. They averted their eyes and focused on another feature of her face or torso. Naruto fixed his eyes on her feet.

But it seemed she was in no condition to fight.

"Please," she panted. "Just save me."
Kakashi slowly walked towards her and wrapped her eyes. She didn't protest. At this point, it was only natural that she tried to save as much blood as she could.

Soon after patching her up, Team Kakashi started on their way back to Konoha.

"Honestly, I thought she was going to put up a fight." Naruto said, his hands behind his head.

"When your life is on the line, you take desperate measures. It is only natural." Kakashi said nonchalantly.
Naruto shrugged in response.

If I was ever caught by enemies I would rather die.

You don't know that Kit. You probably won't ever end up in such a situation. Not while I'm here!

Heh. You useless fox. You couldn't even resist that Genjutsu.
Naruto said this in a teasing manner making Kurama pout.

Ah. At last we're here.

Sorry for the late chapter, I was kinda busy with my report day and we had to buy the books too.

Oh and my report card was rather nice. A1s and A2s 😊
