Chapter Twenty One

Aleks came into the infirmary as Jay started to wake up. The place was entirely empty because the boys were holding a meeting and Jay was too injured to go.

Jay growled as Aleks came in. "You..." Aleks huffed and crossed her arms. "You are just too hard to kill aren't you. If you tell anyone about this, I'll make sure Thomas doesn't make it out alive the next time in the maze." Of course Aleks was bluffing.

She loved Thomas too much, but Jay didn't know that. Jay paled and gulped, scowling. Aleks smirks triumphantly and leaves the room. The boys were just coming out of their meeting.

"Thomas? Can I talk to you?" Aleks asked innocently, hoping her plans of breaking their relationship would work.

Thomas nodded and Aleks sat down with him on a log pretty isolated from camp. "What do you want to ask me?" He said and tilted his head to the side.

"Maybe I should just show you.." Aleks smiled and leaned forward towards him. Then...
