Princess Kira (Zuko love story, ATLA)

Chapter 5

"I can't believe him!" Zuko shouted

Kira silently walked beside him, Iroh had gone out on shore for awhile and now Zuko's mad. He wants to leave and they can't find Iroh.

"Uncle! It's time to leave! Where are you? Uncle Iroh!" Zuko shouted

"ok I tried being silent but I don't think shouting is going to help us find him" Kira said

"He's always causing trouble" Zuko sighed "Uncle Iroh!"

"Over here" they heard

They walked over into a clearing and saw Iroh Relaxing in a hot spring

"We need to move on. We're closing in on the Avatar's trail and I don't want to lose him" Zuko said angrily

"You look tired, Prince Zuko. Why don't you join me in these hot springs and soak away your troubles?" Iroh suggested

"My troubles cannot be soaked away. It's time to go!" Zuko shouted

"I think the water would turn into steam before he even got in it" Kira mumbled "he's too hot headed"

"What was that?" Zuko questioned turning his head to look at her

"Nothing" Kira replied

"You should take your teacher's advice and relax a little. The temperature's just right. I heated it myself" Iroh breathes steam through his nose

"Enough! We need to leave now. Get out of the water!" Zuko shouts

"Very well" Iroh gets up, exposing himself

"ah!" Kira shouted

Zuko covered Kira's eyes and his own "On second thought, why don't you take another few minutes? But be back at the ship in a half-hour or I'm leaving without you!"

Zuko took Kira's hand and pulled her back to the ship with him. Iroh sighs as he slumps back into the water.

"You're too worried about catching the avatar, what about taking some time to cool off" Kira suggested "you're running low on steam"

"I get your concern but that will not help restore my honor" Zuko said "I want to return to my throne"

"I'm not as excited about going back as you are" Kira admitted "sure Azula and your dad don't mind me but I am your concubine you know"

"Best friend" Zuko corrected her

"Whatever you say" Kira sighed

Back near the hot spring. Two soldiers, Kira, and Zuko look for Iroh. The rocks were moved in an unnatural way around the hot springs.

"He couldn't have just dissappeared" Kira said worried

"Something's not right here. That pile of rocks." Zuko said walking over to them

"It looks like there's been a landslide, sir" One of the soldiers pointed out

"Land doesn't slide uphill. Those rocks didn't move naturally" Zuko stands up straight  
"My Uncle's been captured by earthbenders"

"oh so dramatic" Kira said clapping

"Kira" Zuko said annoyed "Let's go"

While following the ostrich horse footprints, Zuko looks up and sees Appa.

"The Avatar!" Zuko turns slightly, but looks back at the footprints.

"Zuko we need to find Uncle Iroh" Kira said putting her hand on his shoulder
