The minotaur

As a little girl your father and mother had arranged a marriage to the prince of Greece but he wasn't what you were expecting.

When you first arrived you wore a long baby blue dress. as your father and mother wore the colour red to show royalty in your kingdom red was only worn by royals but in Greece it was blue as the only living daughter you always knew that you would be married off young.

Your mother always told you a woman must do her duty to her county and her people.

As you met his parents both of them were different your soon to be husband theo looked like both of them in his ways his mother was human like you his father looked exactly like the story's but his son was different his youngest son however looked spitting image to him

His son could change when ever he wanted. As he asked for your hand you nodded letting him take it as your mother and father were escorted by the king and queen to the dinner hall.

"Sorry for my parents" you apologised

"I understand if your nervous but don't be I will try and be a good husband to you like my father is to mother." He smiled showing off his white shining  teeth.

As you sat down you noticed your mother and father were not here.

"It's just us" he said after he noticed you look around.

"Oh" you said

"What's it like in your Country i heard that it is always cold" he asked intrigued

"Yes in England it always rains and is very gloomy we don't really have summer not like here of course" you smiled being polite

As you and theo finished dinner the servant came and collected the dishes and hurried back to the kitchen.

"I want to show you something" as he took you to the crypt where the dead were buried you noticed something drawn on the wall it was minotaurs getting hunted by humans it was awful until you saw a human woman holding a little baby minotaur

"That was my older brother" he said as you quickly looked at him

"My mother is the queen by blood my grandfather had no male heirs only a daughter but she fell in love with my father. My grandfather killed my brother in his sleep when he was baby when he finally died my mother made sure that the minotaurs were treated the same as humans and even could love even breed with them" he told you the story as you kept listening

"When I was born my mother had arranged are marriage to keep peace with her people it's not just you who has a duty but me as well" he told you as you looked up

"My mother lost Children to she lost two sons to war and many stillbirths as well me and my brother are the only children she has now" you told him honestly

"Thank you for showing me your history" you thanked him as you curtsy

"Your welcome my lady" he bowed
