Marcel POV
Harmony and Ayla left late last night. Me and Davina got our last goodbyes from the girls and then they left. I haven't heard anything from them since. It would be a lie to say I'm not worried. I mean who wouldn't be worried about their daughter.
As usual, no one has checked up on Harmony so I was just thinking about going into her room myself and play the part of 'shocked uncle' as I walked to her room Hope beat me to it and I was surprised, to say the least, but I'm guessing she found the letter because I heard strangled sobs coming from Harmonys room. This caught the attention of the Mikaelsons because they all came running in to see if Hope was ok. I scoffed they never did that for Harmony. Anyways I made my way to the room. This was about to get interesting
Hope POV
I walked in harmony's room to tell her I was going out with my dad and she needs to study, but as I got further into the room I just saw empty shelves, a made-up bed and one single handwritten note. I read the first paragraph and couldn't bear to read anymore a sob escaped my lips. I sat on the bed while more and more estranged sounds came from my mouth. All of my family came into the room and my mom put an arm around me whispering sweet nothings in my ear. I just looked at her sorrowful and handed her the letter
Hayley POV
My daughter handed me a piece of paper and I looked down at her with questioning eyes she slowly lifted her hand and pointed to the paper indicating for me to read it. I was still confused but still obliged I read the part directed to me tears forming in my eyes as I read 'You were my mother the person I could turn to but I found that motherly love in someone else' and 'I know you don't love me back'
A million things ran through my mind I was so confused 'was I that bad of a mother to Harmony' 'who did she see as her mother' 'we never remotely treated her that badly' 'I would never purposely hurt my daughter'
I was about to the letter to Klaus still in shock about our daughter leaving tears pouring down my face. Until marcel came in and took the letter right out of my hand
