Chapter 10 - The pit

Thomas's pov

"Do it" Newt said and handed me the silver cylinder back

I walked over to him and looked at everyone.

"Okay" I said

I went to inject him when he grabbed me.

"You shouldn't be here. You shouldn't be here" He said angrily to me and held me tightly.

"Get him" Newt said

Clint and Jeff held him down and Newt pulled me back.

"Get the syringe go" Newt said

Teresa stuck it in him and he immediately calmed down and stopped struggling. I held my chest breathing heavily.

"Well that worked" Jeff said

"Okay from now on, someone stays here and watches him around the clock." Newt said and looked at me

"Hey" Gally said and walked in and looked at Alby then Teresa and then me.

"Sun down Greenie time to go" He said

He walked me to the pit.

Teresa looked at me and then I looked at Newt and then walked out. Gally followed after me.

"Hey what's your problem with me?" I said

"Everything started going wrong the minute you showed up. First Ben, then Alby and then the girl" Gally said

"What about Alex?" I said

"Alex is our mate. She didn't do anything wrong. So don't you dare accuse her. She has been by my or another one of her mates sides or Charlie, Winston, Billie or Rob's and nothing seems to go wrong when she's around only you" Gally said

"Everybody saw she recognized you, Teresa" Gally said

"And I'm betting you know who she is" Gally said

Gally opened the door and I walked in. He shut it behind me and started tying it up.

"Gally you know we can't stay here forever right?" I said

He just looked at me and walked off. I pulled the paper out and looked at it and then I heard someone coming.

"Who's there?" I said

I saw Chuck.

"Here, it's just me" Chuck said

"Sorry Chuck" I said relaxed now

"You'll run better on a full stomach" Chuck said

He sat down and then passed me the food and water and I started eating.

"Mmm thanks Chuck" I said enjoying the food

It wasn't a lot but I was grateful and thankful to Chuck for being so generous.

"Ay what you got there?" I said seeing Chuck pull something out his pocket and inspect it and sigh heavily

He came closer and showed me a wood carving he had. It looked cool.

"Ooh that came out pretty damn good. What's that for?" I said

"Its from my parents" Chuck said

"You remember your parents?" I said

He looked sad for a moment. He shook his head.

"No but I know I must have them. And wherever they are I'm sure they miss me. I can't miss them because I don't remember them. What do you think you're going to find out there tomorrow?" Chuck said
