New Beginnings (Marvel/Mlb crossover)

As I get to the Stark mansion, I am amazed. I thought that the mansions in Paris where huge, but this house blows them out of the park. It is a delicate structure on the edge of New York, with a big back yard and small front yard. Most of the front is side walk and driveway anyway. Inside, there are several flowers and decorations, all carefully placed.

Everything looks as if it is at least worth hundreds of dollars. I am holding my paint box, backpack, and small bag with necessities. Pepper says, "Follow me Marinette." I nod, and Tony follows us with my suitcase and sewing machine.

As I get up to my new room, I gasp, surprised at how amazing it is in here. I set all of my stuff down, and look around. There is a king sized bed in the corner of the huge room, and a built in desk that goes from one side of the wall to the other. 

Near the wall with the windows, there is a couch and tv. With the wall that doesn't have my bed or windows or desk, there is a book case that reaches the ceiling, filled with many books and video games. In the corner, I see a book that is upside down, and try to pull it out, but instead, a small proportion of the book case opens up into a room, which is apparently my closet and a safe, which has a laundry shoot.

On one part of my desk, it can flip up like at a restaurant, and on the other side there is a door. I open it, and there is my bathroom. It has a huge vanity and mirror, along with a deep sink. There is another smaller closet with sliding doors, which holds towels and robes, along with lotions and other necessities.

The shower is next to the closet, being huge with 4 heads and a little remote for settings. The bath tub is more like a hot tub, and has a remote too. It also has windows that have an amazing view, overlooking most of New York. The remote also has a setting where you can touch a certain button, which will bring up a holographic typeable keyboard and you can type in any place you want to see, and that will become your view.

(Thinking hunger games here in the first movie lol)

I begin to tear up, and whisper, "Thank you so much. It is more than I could have ever asked for." Tony whispers to Pepper, "Can you give us a minute?" Even though I can't see the woman, I know she nodded her head and walked out silently.

He walks up next to me, looking at the view, and says, "You are welcome here for as long as you want. You can access any where in the house, and Friday is available everywhere. But I do have a few rules. 1. No one, except for Peter and the other avengers, can know that you live here. It's just a safety precaution. 2. Curfew is midnight no matter what. 3. No alcohol. Ever. I find out you drink and I will personally be taking you back to Paris. And 4. Have fun. Loosen up. If you need anything at night then you can ask Friday, and if it is serious then Friday can wake me or Pepper up. You can talk to us. It is completely fine. We already trust you, just don't break that."

I nod, then I feel him begin to shift away. "Wait." I say, and he stops. I look over my shoulder and say, "Can you stay? I need someone right now." He nods and comes and stands next to me, looking over the city.

After about 5 minutes, he moves again, and asks, "Are you good now?" I shake my head no, but say, "But you can go. It will be awhile before I am okay. I'll tell you eventually. I'll be fine though." He nods, then hesitates, and opens up his arms a little.

I look at him, and give him a weak smile, and hug him. I whisper, "Please don't break me anymore than everyone else has." I feel him nod against my head, and he says, "whatever, or whoever did this to you, you will never see them again. You don't have to be broken anymore."

He pulls back and gives me a sad smile, then turns and leaves. Suddenly I'm alone, looking out at a city that I don't know.
