This is my story, the story of an abused 16-year-old girl named Reina that has constantly been beaten by her father and sister. I would be abused for stupid things such as disrespect, not being on time for dinner, or waking up past 4:30.
I used to have a brother that looked after me and did everything for me, he was my life but on my 10th birthday, my mum threw a party. Two hours into the party a car pulled up and started shooting, they killed my brother.
At his funeral my dad didn't show up because he was drunk and blamed Vincent's death on me. After him blaming it on me he made my life hell, my sister then joined in, but mum couldn't do anything to stop it, she was to scared.
"COME TO MY ROOM NOW," I heard my dad scream to me and instantly I ran to his room still in pain from the beating I had last night. I knocked on his door then entered, my sister was in the room and there were beer bottles everywhere.
"You only enter once I say you can," he yelled at me slapping my face. I fell to the floor and my hand shot up to hold my cheek as it burned. He went and sat back down the said, "go get your sister and I another pack of beer."
