*Two days before the banquet.*

Mei was admiring herself while two maids combed her hair.

One of her maids spoke up,

"Miss, you look stunning. If you walk into the banquet with this look, everyone will be amazed."

Mei responded,

"Good Morning, Miss, we need to get ready for the banquet."

*Galloping of carriages and neighing of horses.*

'Miss, looks like the carriage is waiting for you. ' Exclaimed Yin

I opened the door to find Mei already present in front of her carriage. Mei was in awe after looking at me. Mei clenched her hands as she burned in jealousy deep down inside her heart. To be honest, I was really satisfied with the look on her face.

We both left the manor with our parents to attend the banquet.
