Returning home from his morning run Sam hears a knock at his door, he opens the door to see Steve and Regulus

Sam Wilson:
Hey, man.

"Hey it's me" calls out Sam excited seeing himself on screen.

Steve Rogers:
I'm sorry about this. We need a place to lay low.

Regulus:
Everyone we know is trying to kill us.

Sam pauses a moment before replying

Sam Wilson:
Not everyone.

Sam let's them enter, later as Steve and Regulus are cleaning up, Steve notices Regulus looking sad and thoughtful

Steve Rogers:
You okay?

Regulus:
Yeah.

Steve Rogers:
What's going on?

Regulus:
When I first joined SHIELD, I thought I was going straight. I didn't have the best life before the red room and I guess I thought maybe I had a chance to do better but I guess I just traded in the KGB for HYDRA. I thought I knew whose lies I was telling, but...I guess I can't tell the difference anymore.

Some of the light side couldn't help but feel something twitch in their stomachs. Sirius couldn't help but stare at Reguluge once again. One side of him wanted to hold him and tell him everyone was going to be okay like he used to do all those years ago, but the other side of him wanted to rub it in his face at his consequence.

Steve Rogers:
There's a chance you might be in the wrong business.

Regulus smiles faintly

Regulus:
I owe you.

"Does anyone else sense the tension orrr.." Sam drawls the or. Regulus has a disgusted look on his face, while Steve looks more embarrassed and a little grossed out. Reggie was like a little brother to him.

Regulus:
I wonder what Jasper is probably thinking. Does he even know his dad is currently on the run.

Steve:
Where is your son?

Regulus:
Private school.

Pause

Regulus:
If it was the other way around, and it was down to me to save your life, and you be honest with me, would you trust me to do it?

Steve Rogers:
I would now. And I'm always honest.

Regulus:
Well, you seem pretty chipper for someone who just found out they died for nothing.

Steve Rogers:
Well, I guess I just like to know who I'm fighting.

Sam walks in
Sam Wilson:

I made breakfast. If you guys...eat that sort of thing.

Laughs are heard around the room.

Later as they are sat in Sam's kitchen

Regulus:
So, the question is: who in SHIELD could launch a domestic missile strike?

Steve Rogers:
Pierce.

Regulus:

Who happens to be sitting on top of the most secure building in the world.

Steve Rogers:
But he's not working alone, Zola's algorithm was on the Lemurian Star.
