"I waited for you for years, Asiya! A few more hours is nothing!" – Khaleel Othman.

CONTINUATION...

"I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU!"

His stomach most immediately did the butterflies' thing as his heart performed numerous somersaults and he couldn't help but rake his hand through his hair multiple times; only and only to refrain himself from clouding his mind with thoughts of the one and only person who had actually been able to steal his heart.

Growing nothing but overly impatient and that too with every tick of the clock, he very much irritably called out...

"Yasir?!"

"Yeah?!"

He then tightly pinched the bridge of his nose, while letting out the most frustrated huff ever because he very well knew that for the next good few minutes or so, Yasir was without any doubts, going to play him and play him good.

Not at all believing Yasir's actual nerve to very much deliberately take his sweet time and with every passing second feeling like nothing but eternity, he once again called out or rather growled out; his voice laced with nothing but immense anticipation...

"Yasir! Do I have to carry out some kind of special sacrifice for you to be out with it already?"

"What?! Sacrifice? Is that really that best you got, Khaleelo?"

"I got hands Yasir and I am literally a pinch close from throwing them; AT YOU!"

Biting back a small smile, Yasir feigned the most disappointed look ever, afterwich he said...

"To think I was here rooting for you! You most definitely can do much better than that, Khaleel! Come on!"

"Yasir! Please!"

"I know I am hard man to figure let alone please! So do take your time! I got all day! No worries!"

Rolling his eyes tremendously and with impatience getting nothing but the better of him, Khaleel exasperatedly pulled out his wallet and then asked...

"What? So I have to pay you now?"

A loud laugh couldn't help but escape Yasir's lips and while passing his hand over his well-kept beard numerous times, just so as to show as if he is deep in thought, he said...

"Well, that could be a NICE option!"

"Well then name your price!"

Not waiting for a reply, Khaleel then pulled out from his wallet, a small wad of crisp notes, which he began to count out and that too, one by one; loud enough for Yasir to hear or actually, a bit way too loud, to the point that Yasir actually contemplated for a second or two, as whether to remind that he was blind and not deaf.

Counting only but ended up vexing him a tad bit more and in literally the split of a second, he stashed back the wad of notes into his wallet and then pocket and then thereafter said...

"You know what? I'll write you a cheque!"

"Bless your soul!"

"A BLANK ONE!"

"Double bless your soul!"

Yasir then opened his mouth to further say something causing Khaleel to quirk up one of his eyebrows in full anticipation only for Yasir to take somewhat of a short pregnant pause causing silence to reign the room for a good minute or two, which he later broke by saying...

"However..."

"However what, Yasir? However what?"

"However, I only take payment by card! Call it a personal policy!"
