𝑺𝑰𝑿 months after everything that went down in LA, Lola walked onto the dock behind her friend, Tej Parker's garage where there was some boat racing happening. She made her way over to where Tej and Suki, Lola's roommate, were sitting. Suki noticed Lola and pulled her into a hug.

"Hey girly." Suki greeted

"Hey Suki." Lola said

Tej stopped yelling into his megaphone for a second and turned to Lola.

"Hey, sweetheart, we missed you last night at the race." Tej said

"You know I'm a busy girl, Tej." Lola teased

She smirked at Tej.

"Don't worry, I'll be back soon. Gotta make sure no one takes my title." Lola said

"Actually, we might've found someone who could give you a run for your money." Tej said

"Yeah, who?" Lola asked

"Me." A voice said

Lola whipped around and there he stood. Brian O'Conner. A smirk on his face that Lola wanted to smack off.

"What the hell are you doing here? You following me O'Conner?" Lola asked

"Hey, Rory." Brian said

"Don't call me that." Lola demanded

"You two know each other?" Tej asked

"Unfortunately." Lola replied

"Can we talk?" Brian asked

"About what? There's nothing to talk about." Lola said

"Please." Brian begged

"Why can't you understand the word nothing?" Lola asked

"Come on Rory." Brian said

"Stop calling me that!" Lola protested

Lola looked around, and noticed her friends staring at her and Brian. She sighed.

"You wanna talk? Fine. But not here." Lola said

She walked off and Brian followed. She made her way to where Tej kept some spare cots and closed the door behind Brian. She crossed her arms and faced Brian.

"What do you want Brian?" Lola asked

Instead of answering, Brian pulled Lola into a kiss. Lola immediately began kissing but but pulled away once she remembered who it was.

"What the fuck was that for?" Lola asked

"I wanted to do it." Brian said

"Don't do it again." Lola ordered

"I'm not making any promises." Brian said

Lola felt her anger rise.

"I know you're a wanted man, I've seen your picture in the paper. What's to stop me from turning your ass in to the cops?" Lola asked

"Your feelings for me." Brian responded, confidently

"Don't flatter yourself, Brian. That kind of thinking really can inflate an already over-inflated ego." Lola said

"I know you still have feelings for me, I could feel it. I can see it right now." Brian said

"You're delusional. That kiss? Pure hormones. What you're seeing now? Pure anger. Don't misinterpret things, Brian, it can go badly." Lola said

Brian ignored Lola's anger and grabbed her hands.

"Rory, we're meant for more than this. Of all the places for you to end up, you end up in Florida and then Tej's garage. This means something." Brian said

Lola pulled her hands away from Brian.

"Yeah, it means I have the worst luck ever." Lola argued

"No, I think this means that we're meant to be in each other's lives. That we're meant to be together." Brian corrected

"No, no we're not. You broke my family apart and..." Lola started

Brian interrupted her.

"You can blame me for that all you want, but you know that's not true. Sooner or later the cops were going to crack down on you guys, they were close. Every law enforcement agency in LA was coming down on Dom and I helped him get away. Dom was going to get caught eventually and the rest of you guys would've gone down with him, too, and you know it. If I hadn't been there, Vince might've died and Dom would be in jail." Brian said

"Doesn't mean I can't hate you for accelerating the process." Lola rebutted

Brian sighed and placed his hand on Lola's cheek.

"I'm sorry for my part in what happened back in LA, but I never lied to you about my feelings. I never lied about what you meant to me." Brian said

"Shut up! Shut the hell up!" Lola exclaimed

"I still have feelings for you and I know that you do, too. I can see it in your eyes, in the way your body molds itself to mine when I hold you like this." Brian said

He pulled Lola against his chest, proving his point when she relaxed in his arms.

"Don't do this." Lola whispered

"Why not? I don't care how long I have to wait for you, Rory, but I will wait." Brian said

"There's nothing to wait for." Lola said

"Yes, there is and you know it." Brian said

Lola sighed and Brian pulled her into another kiss. This time, however, Lola didn't pull away. In fact, she deepened the kiss. Brian stood still as she pulled away from him. He looked down at her in awe before he cupped her face and crashed his lips to hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck, tangling her hands in his hair as she attempted to pull herself closer to him. Brian's hands trailed over her hips before they came to a stop. Brian pulled away from her as Lola looked up at him in confusion.

"Are you sure about this?" Brian asked

Lola smiled softly, slightly stepping back from him as she detached herself from him. Brian's eyes were full of confusion until he saw what she was doing. She pulled the shirt she had been wearing over her bikini off. Brian's eyes bulged out of his head as she stood in front of him confidently. Brian moved towards her and his hands swept under her thighs as he easily hoisted her up. Their lips connected once more as Brian walked towards one of the cots in the room. He pulled away from Lola and made sure the door was locked, before pulling her into another kiss.
