𝑩𝑹𝑰𝑨𝑵'𝑺 car pulled up to Tej's garage. Lola was still thinking about what went down thirty minutes ago and what the boys filled her in on. They were undercover to bust Verone in exchange for their records being cleared. The four got out of the car, Roman still talking about Monica.
"She was into it, man. What's that about? And you seen the way she grabbed the dude's head." Roman said
"She had to, man. He was testing her. You gotta remember, her ass is on the line, just like ours." Brian said
Lola walked ahead of the boys, ignoring them. Tej, Suki, and Jimmy were all seated around a circular table playing cards. They all looked up from the table when Lola walked in.
"Hey girly." Suki said, smiling
Lola smiled back and made her way over to the girl. She slipped her heels off and exhaled in relief.
"You winning?" Lola asked
She nodded towards the cards and Suki laughed.
"Oh you know it!" Suki exclaimed
She leaned closer to Lola.
"You staying the night?" Suki asked, quietly
A smirk formed on her lips and Lola suppressed the urge to roll her eyes.
