𝑾𝑯𝑰𝑳𝑬 Dom was with Oliver at the crash sight, Mia and Lola decided to take a walk to clear their heads. Arriving back at their house, the Toretto girls noticed a car sitting outside. Two men got out of it. One of them held up his badge as Lola stood beside Mia.

"Lorelei and Mia Toretto. I'm Michael Stasiak, FBI. Let's you two and I have a little chat." Stasiak said

Mia and Lola shared a look, the two nodding their heads as they got into the backseat of the car.

💋

"Where is your brother?" Stasiak demanded

This was the umpteenth time he asked the sisters and he was becoming frustrated with the two women in front of him. Mia was still sitting quietly with her arms folded across her chest, she had refused to speak the entire time the sisters had been there. Lola sighed angrily.

"Like we told you the last thousand times, we don't know where he is." Lola said

The two were still in the interrogation room after being in there for twelve hours. They were tired, hungry, and annoyed. Stasiak had been grilling them ever since they stepped foot into the FBI building.

"Bullshit!" Stasiak exclaimed

He slammed his hand on the table, Mia flinching. Lola glared daggers at the man as he looked between the two.

"Where's Toretto?" Stasiak asked

"We! Don't! Know! Do you not understand what we don't know means?" Lola snapped

Before Stasiak could reply or interrogate them anymore, his phone buzzed. He glared at the two once more before stepping out of the room. Lola heard Mia let out a breath of relief, muttering under her breath. The door opened once again, Lola bracing herself to be yelled at again as footsteps approached them.

"Hey, Tyler, we got a transfer." A man said

Lola slowly looked up from her hands at the voice. She relaxed when she saw it was Brian. Mia looked at Brian with nothing but hatred in her eyes. Brian turned to the two and stepped towards them, looking down at the pair, his eyes locking with Lola's.

"You two wanna come with me?" Brian asked

Lola nodded her head and grabbed her bag, standing up. Mia stood up beside her as Lola smoothed down her dress. Brian placed his hand on Lola's mid back without thought as he led the two of them out of the room. Lola's body relaxed at his familiar touch as they stood in the elevator.

💋

Brian brought the Toretto girls to a diner. Mia and Lola sat on one side and Brian sat across from them. Mia kept her gaze down at the mug of coffee she held. Lola and Brian kept trying and failing at looking at each other discretely. After five minutes of silence, Mia spoke up.

"I'm almost done." Mia said

A sigh left Mia's lips as she finally looked at Brian.

"Why don't you tell me why you dragged us here, Brian?" Mia asked

Brian sighed and leaned back in his seat.

"You know they're gonna capture Dom. Maybe worse. I don't want either of you getting tangled up in this. So stay away from him." Brian said

Lola set her cup down on the table, shaking her head. Mia leaned back in her seat.

"That's what you have to say to us after five years? All of a sudden, you care what happens to us?" Mia asked, annoyed

"What I did to your family was wrong. I'm sorry. It was-- it was the hardest thing I ever had to do." Brian said

Mia scoffed at his words, while Lola remained silent.

"I'm sorry, too, Brian. I'm so sorry that you had to come into my home and pretend to love Lola. I'm so sorry that you ripped my family apart. I'm very sorry that that was hard for you." Mia said, angrily

Brian sat in silence for a moment before speaking.

"I lied to you. I lied to Lola, to Dom. I lied to everybody. That's what I do best. It's why the Feds recruited me." Brian said

"Maybe you're lying to yourself. Maybe you're not the good guy pretending to be a bad guy. Maybe you're the bad guy pretending to be the good guy. You ever think about that?" Mia asked

"Every day." Brian replied, honestly

Mia grabbed her bag and slid out of the booth.

"Come on, Lo. Let's go." Mia said

Lola slid out of the booth, giving Brian a soft smile as the sisters started to walk away. Mia stopped walking and turned back around.

"I always wondered, why'd you let my brother go that day?" Mia asked

"I don't know." Brian said

He shrugged and Mia clenched. The youngest Toretto began to walk away as Lola stopped for a moment, facing Brian.

"I love you." Lola mouthed

"I love you too." Brian mouthed back

Lola quickly rushed after her sister, leaving the diner.

Back at the Toretto house, Dom had just completed his "talk" with David Park. Lola found him in the garage fixing up his car. She sat down next to Dom, who was taking a break.

"You know something. Spill." Lola ordered

"Letty was running for this dude named Braga. He's looking for more drivers, so I'm gonna race to get in." Dom said

"I'm coming with you." Lola said

"No, Lola, it's too dangerous." Dom said

"I'm helping you whether you like it or not. You know damn well that I am just as capable of doing this as you are. Letty was my best friend and I wanna avenge her death." Lola argued

She reached over and placed her hand over his.

"Dom, trust me, I can do this." Lola said

Dom sighed.

"I know you can. That's what makes me worried." Dom said
