A Realization

Alice stepped back as she finished showing Aro what would happen if this battle were to happen. "No you know what would happen if this battle were to happen. You fight a great battle but you will lose the one person that you treasure the most." Aro was horrified at the thought of Pandora dying. She was truly the only one in his life that brought joy in his miserable life.

He stopped staring at Alice and turned towards Pandora. He then did something that no one ever expected him to do. He walked towards Pandora and hugged her tightly not wanting to let go of her ever.

"You are my most precious treasure." Aro whispered quiet enough so only Pandora could hear him. But Edward heard and if his heart was still beating it would melt. Aro then turned to face the opposing side. Caius then started to shout. "The child is still a threat to us. It must be destroyed."

Edward then started to talk. "What if you were sure that she would remain sealed from the human world. Could we leave in peace?" "Of course but that cannot be known." Caius shouted back at the opposing side. "Actually it can." Edward smirked as a man and women dressed in native tribal clothes walk onto the field. Alice then began to speak again. "I've been searching for witnesses of my own among the Ticuna tribes of Brazil. This is Huilen and her nephew Nahuel" "We have enough witnesses." Caius shouted. "Let them speak brother." Aro stated not wanting the fight he saw in Alice's vision to happen. "Speak, Nahuel."

"I am half human and half vampire like the child. My father was a vampire who seduced my mother who died giving birth to me. My aunt Huilen raised me as her own. I made her immortal." Stated by Nahuel. "How old are you?" Asked Bella wanting to know how much time she would have left with her daughter. "I am a hundred and fifty years old." Sighs of relief were heard as the Cullens were happy that they had time with Renessme. "At what age did you reach maturity?" Asked Alec. "I became full grown seven years after my birth. I have not grown since then." "And your diet?" Questioned Aro. "Blood, human food. I can survive on either."

"This child is much like us." Marcus breathed out. "Regardless, the Cullens have been consorting with werewolves. Our natural enemy." Caius was so oblivious to what would happen if a battle were to take place. "Dear ones, there is no danger here. We will not fight today." Aro said stating his announcement of the war. Caius along with some of the other guards weren't happy. But they all left except Aro, Cain and Pandora. "Carlisle I trust you." Aro then speed off leaving Pandora and Cain with the Cullens. Edward turned to his father. "What did Aro mean by he trust you." Carlisle turned to face his son before looking at his old friend. "He just made one of the hardest decisions that he ever made in his entire life. He's letting Pandora be happy even if that means letting her go."

Everyone went home and the Cullens along with Cain and Pandora went back to their home. Carlisle was sitting in the living room alone when Pandora walked into the room. He looked up at her and she looked back at him.

Carlisle then got up and braced her in a tight hug.

"I missed you so much Pandora." "I missed you to Carlisle. Looks like you were right we did see each other again." Carlisle smiled at his old friend. He smiled a pure smile at her. "Looks like the wait is finally over. You and your mate are going to be so happy here." "I bet I wi-." "Awwwee this is so adorable." They turned around and saw the rest of the family and Cain smiling at them. Cain looked at his mate with pure joy. His mate could finally be happy and not have to kill anymore humans. She could finally live her life the way she wants to.

"Looks like everything turned out okay." Alice walked up to Pandora and hugged. "Welcome to the family Pandora and Cain Carlisle is so excited for you to be here." Cain turned towards Carlisle. "Is that so." Everyone laughed at this. Everyone then went on with their night. Cain and Pandora were laying in their room. "You know Pandora I love you so much. I'm happy that you will finally be able to be happy." Pandora got up and placed her hand on where Cain's once beating heart was.

"Your heart may have stopped beating but it is still and always will be there. I love you too Cain." Cain smiled at Pandora and kissed her. Cain pulled her into him and they both fell onto the bed. Pandora sat up and looked at her mate. "Life is finally being good to us." "I suppose it is." Pandora and Cain layed in their bed thinking of how good life was right now.
