niola shoves her last binder into her locker, sighing at the messy sight. normally, she's able to keep everything in her like pretty tidy — her room, her clothes, her hair, etc. — except for her locker. she has to open the door just right to avoid everything inside falling out on top of her.
she shuts her lockers hearing a few pencils falling to the ground as it locks closed. she groans, knowing that she'll be needing those later. and now that they're out of place, she won't be able to find them.
"good morning, niola!" an overly enthusiastic voice cheers happily from beside her locker. she lets out a deep exhale, looking to the side — dreading the unavoidable conversation that comes with seeing him every day. of all people who could have gotten the locker directly beside her, this is the worst option possible.
