chapter 12 "rebound"

Dan pov

"Q!!!!" I ran into Q's tent as Q and Florian sat on their bed.

"Dan?.." Q stood up immediately.. "What's wrong?!!... Why are you crying?!!" He held my shoulders trying to stop me from panicking..

"Q!! I confessed! And- And--" i choked on my tears.. "where is kitty!!?? I need kitty??!!!! Pleasee Q! I need kitty!!!" I cried holding onto Q's arm..

"Dan! Dan! Sit down first!" Florian gently sat me down as i chucked a glass of water.

"Ok.. now tell me.. what happened?." Q carressed my back as i took deep breaths trying calm my racing heart.

"I-- i confessed to Minho.." i stuttered looking up to stop my tears from flowing..

"That's great!--- right?..." Q mumbled after seeing my face.

"He-he confessed to mad---" i sniffled.. "Madison but she reje-cted him" i closed my eyes looking down..

"The-n i went to- to him.. but he was crying and th-hen he said nobody likes him.. so-so i confessed.." i sobbed.

"What did he say.." Florian asked handing me a tissue.

"He kissed me.. but- but then he said he doesn't want to use me as Madison's backup plan.." More tears fell from my eyes as i kept wiping them..

"Shh..., It's ok..." Q mumbled words of comfort in my ears as i sobbed in his chest while Florian carressed my back.. "He cares about you Dan... He doesn't want you to feel like you're a rebound."

"....."

"Dan?.. Dan?.." Q mumbled but i already drifted into deep sleep..

"A reason, a season or lifetime.." Minho said while i made my morning coffee still not wanting to talk to Minho after the humiliation i have gone through.

"What are you talking about?" Q asked as he worked out.

"Every realtionship fits into one of those categories.. I believe i was with Madison for a reason." Minho said massaging his face with face roller.

"Long legs?." Q commented. .. "No. She helped me realise that I'm ready for something real." Minho said as i rolled my eyes at their conversation sipping my coffee sitting on stool near kitchen counter.

"Wow. Only you can come out getting dumped somehow feeling better about yourself." Q said looking at me while i just shook my head at him..

Maybe Minho doesn't remember?.. or maybe he doesn't want to remember?.. i thought going to wash my mug.

"Good morning!." "Good morning!" The two love birds came out of their room chiming... "You look so beautiful today." Dae whispered lowly, while kitty giggled.

"I'll make the coffee.." "I'll grab the mug" they both made their way towards the kitchen while i continued washing my mug..

"It's too early to be this cheery.." Q commented putting on his shirt as i placed my mug on the stand.

"I am this cheery! Not only because i have the most perfect boyfriend in the world but it has come to my attention that I'm failing almost every classes of mine" kitty replied skipping towards the kitchen..

"Me too.. if we do not do better in the final we'll be kicked out of school" i replied groggily sitting between Q and minho..

"And that brings you cheer... Because?" Q tilted his head.
