Sharon Carter and Y/n were on a mission to take down a Hydra base together. It was a dangerous mission, but they were ready for it. As they entered the base, they split up to cover more ground. Sharon went left, while Y/n went right.
After a few minutes, Y/n heard a loud explosion and knew that something had gone wrong. She quickly ran towards the sound and found Sharon lying on the ground with a deep cut on her leg. Y/n immediately went into action mode and quickly assessed Sharon's injury.
"Sharon, can you hear me?" Y/n asked, trying to keep her voice calm.
Sharon groaned in response, but Y/n could see the pain in her eyes. She quickly picked Sharon up and carried her back to the Quinjet. Once they were safely inside, Y/n began to treat Sharon's injury.
As Y/n was working, Sharon watched her with admiration and love. She had always had feelings for Y/n, but had never acted on them. She was afraid of ruining their friendship, but now, seeing Y/n in action, she knew that she had to tell her how she felt.
"Y/n," Sharon said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Y/n looked up from her work and met Sharon's gaze. There was something different about her expression, something that Y/n couldn't quite place.
"I just wanted to say that I...I admire you so much," Sharon continued. "You're so strong and brave, and I don't think I could have finished this mission without you."
Y/n smiled softly, feeling her heart swell with warmth. "Sharon, you're amazing too," she replied. "You took on those Hydra agents like a pro."
Sharon chuckled weakly, but then grew serious again. "Y/n, there's something else I need to tell you," she said hesitantly.
Y/n's heart skipped a beat. Was Sharon going to confess her feelings? The thought made Y/n's stomach do flips.
"I...I think I'm in love with you, Y/n," Sharon said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Y/n's heart soared with happiness. She had always had feelings for Sharon too, but had never acted on them for fear of ruining their friendship. But now, hearing Sharon's confession, Y/n knew that they were meant to be together.
"Sharon, I feel the same way," Y/n said, reaching out to take Sharon's hand. "I've always had feelings for you, but I didn't know how to tell you."
Sharon's eyes lit up with joy and relief. "Y/n, I'm so happy to hear that," she said, squeezing Y/n's hand. "I can't wait to see where this goes."
Y/n leaned in and kissed Sharon softly on the lips. It was a gentle and tender kiss, but it spoke volumes about the love and affection they felt for each other.
As they pulled back, Y/n smiled at Sharon. "Let's get you back to the Avengers tower, where we can finish treating your injury and start our new journey together," she said.
Sharon grinned back at Y/n, feeling happier than she had in a long time. She knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, she and Y/n would face them together, as partners and as lovers.
