As Wade Wilson walked into his apartment, he couldn't help but feel a bit confused. The door was already open, and he was almost certain that he had locked it before he left. Nevertheless, he stepped inside and looked around, trying to figure out what was going on.
It didn't take him long to spot his girlfriend Y/n, wearing one of his shirts and drying her hair with a towel. As soon as she saw him, she smiled. "Hey baby, welcome home."
Wade couldn't help but smirk back at her.
He motioned for her to come over to him, and as she walked towards him, he pulled her close and planted a big, passionate kiss on her lips. When they finally pulled away, Y/n was smirking. "What was the kiss for?"
Wade simply grinned and replied, "Just because I love you and missed you, babe. And because you look damn good in my shirt."
YY/n laughed and playfully pushed him away. "You are a crazy man, Wade Wilson."
Wade laughed and just pulled her back in for another kiss. "Yeah I know, but you love me."
"That I do, indeed," Y/n said as she kissed him again. "I missed you too, by the way, " she said. "But what are you doing home so early? I thought you had a meeting with the Avengers today."
Wade sighed. "Yeah, I did. But it got cancelled at the last minute, so I figured I'd come home and surprise you."
Y/n's eyes lit up. "Well, you definitely succeeded," she said, leaning in for another kiss.
Wade chuckled. "I'm glad," he said. "But now that I'm here, what do you want to do? Anything you've been wanting to try?"
Y/n grinned mischievously. "Actually, there is something," she said, pulling him towards the bedroom. "But you'll have to wait and see."
Wade raised an eyebrow, his interest piqued. "Oh really?" he said, following her eagerly.
As they disappeared into the bedroom, Wade couldn't help but feel grateful for the unexpected cancellation of his meeting. Sometimes, the best surprises were the ones you didn't plan for.
