Aradhna's POV

As I was about to respond to Mr. Singhania, my mother called me over. I excused myself and made my way to her. Upon reaching her, she introduced me to her friend, Mrs. Birla, and her son, Vaibhav Birla. I had a feeling that my mother was trying to set me up, but it was frustrating that she didn't seem to understand that I had no room for love in my life, especially with my demanding job at RAW. I didn't want to endanger someone else's life with my risky profession.

Mrs. Birla, with a knowing look, suggested that Vaibhav and I should get to know each other and then promptly left with my mom. I turned to face Vaibhav, offering a somewhat awkward smile.

He extended his hand toward me and introduced himself, "Vaibhav Birla."

I shook his hand and replied, "Aradhna Kapoor."

I attempted to withdraw my hand, but he seemed reluctant to let go, giving me an uneasy feeling. Just then, I felt an unexpected arm encircle my waist, startling me. I glanced to my left to find Mr. Singhania, who was smiling at me.

He took my hand out of Vaibhav's grasp and said, "There you are. I've been looking for you. And might I add, you look absolutely gorgeous, M'lady."

I shot him a glare, not quite understanding his intentions. His focus then shifted to Vaibhav, his arm still firmly around my waist. I attempted to free myself, but his grip tightened. Mr. Singhania nodded in Vaibhav's direction.

Vaibhav seemed momentarily starstruck, as if he were having a fanboy moment. He began to babble in response to Mr. Singhania's presence, eventually realizing that he was making a fool of himself. With a hasty farewell, he left us, and I was left to wonder just what Mr. Singhania was up to.

As soon as Vaibhav left, I freed myself from Mr. Sanghania and asked, "What was that?"

"I thought you wee uncomfortable and that bastard wasn't leaving you hand so I did what I felt like doing." He said shrugging his shoulder.

"Thank-you Mr. Singhania, but I don't need someone to rescue me, I am capable enough and never pull such a stunt again,"I said

To which he replied,"I Know you are capable enough to look after yourself but when I am around, I'll always look out for you, Jaan"

I looked at him with amazement as he used the word Jaan. I was about to reply when a girl in a very revealing blouse and lehenga threw herself on him and said, "Oh, baby, I've missed you. I can't seem to forget our night together."

I couldn't help but smirk at the situation and decided to leave them to their conversation.

Abhimaan's POV

That idiot Vaibhav wouldn't let go of my Jaan's hand, I freed her hand, and I must admit, she felt amazing in my arms. I wished I could hold her like that forever. After Vaibhav made a fool of himself and left, I had some precious moments alone with my Jaan, my tigress

We were in conversation when some girl came over and threw herself at me. From the way she spoke, it was evident that she was one of my past one-night stands. But why did she have to do this in front of Aradhna?

I always made it clear to every girl that they shouldn't expect anything from me other than a night of fun. I was left dumbstruck, and Aradhna just smirked and walked away.

As Aradhna walked away, I swiftly comprehended the situation and pushed the girl aside.

"Do I know you?" I inquired, my tone laced with frustration.

She responded provocatively, "Oh, quit the act. I know you can't forget our night together. I am in your thoughts as much as you're in my thoughts."

"I'm not interested, it's best if you keep your distance," I retorted firmly.

"But I love you," she persisted, edging closer.

"Me or my wealth? I'm aware that you're Randhava's daughter, and your family's reputation for chasing riches is well-known. I'm not even sure you know the true meaning of love. STAY.AWAY.FROM.ME."I Roared

With that, I left her where she stood and began searching for my Jaan.

As I scanned the surroundings, I saw my tigress, giggling and chatting with a group of girls as they adorned her hands with mehendi.

I couldn't tear my gaze away, admiring  her for good ten minutes. Just as I was deeply engrossed in admiring her, my idiotic best friend, Karan, decided to intrude and voice his thoughts.

"Man, she's stunning!" he exclaimed, his eyes locked on MY ARADHNA.

I smacked his head hard and retorted, "Meri hai woh!"

He shot me a teasing grin, but before he could make any more comments, I warned, "Stay away from her." With that, I left to take a seat beside her.

As I sat down beside her, she ignored me. I couldn't resist making a comment, "I have nothing to do with that girl."

She gave me an odd look and replied, "Even if she has something to do with you, why do you think it would bother me? She could have everything to do with you for all I care."

I decided to tease her a bit, saying, "Well, since you are going to marry me and be my wife, you should know everything."

Her expression turned horrified, and she shot back, "What makes you think I am gonna marry you?"

I confidently stated, "Well, you are gonna fall for me as much as I have fallen for you."

She said, "You don't know me, Mr. Singhania. I am not someone you love. I don't have time for all that in my life."

I leaned in closer, gazing into her eyes, and whispered, "You are right, you are not someone to be loved. You are someone to be worshipped, and I am going to worship you" With that, I got up and left, leaving her flustered.

Author's POV

Mehendi Venue

As Abhimaan talked with Aradhna, his sister Ayesha overheard their conversation while getting her mehendi done, though her back was turned away from her brother.

Upon witnessing Abhimaan walking away, she decided to follow him and embraced him tightly. Concern etched on his face, Abhimaan asked, "Ayeshu, everything alright?"

"Bhai I love Aradhna di, you know she is Meera Di's best friend and I have met her multiple times. She is the best. She treats me like her own sister. Please make her my bhabhi." She said to him

Abhimaan couldn't help but smile as he thought about how his sister already had a fondness for Aradhna, and the word bhabhi stirred a warm feeling in his heart, one that he couldn't quite put into words.

"Don't worry, Ayeshu. She's going to be your bhabhi," Abhimaan reassured his sister with a reassuring smile.Ayesha squealed in happiness

Just then Vihaan, Ayesha's twin brother, Vihaan came towards them and whined,"Not fair bhai, even I want to meet bhabhi and talk to her. This chipkali also knows her."

To which Abhimaan just chuckled and Ayesha showed her tongue to Vihaan. Vihaan started running behind Ayesha.

In the midst of their playful banter, Aradhna, who was walking in the opposite direction, stumbled and was on the verge of falling, Abhimaan's quick reflexes came to the rescue. He reached out and caught her in his strong, reassuring arms, preventing her from hitting the ground.
