Kabir asked me why I was single, after Nishi asking the same question to Shaurya, which both of us were not interested to talk about, but we couldn't lie either so I told him
"There was a guy I liked, I even proposed him, but he said no"
"Who said no to you Sanya?" Sambhav interrupted in between
" From what I remember you were dating Dhruv and then you were the one who broke up"
" Because we had to focus on our career Sambhav" Dhruv said, (maybe covering up for me)
" But who was the lucky guy who got proposed by you and was dumb enough to say no to you" Kabir asked
" Let's forget the past guys, we all are here together right now, let's enjoy the moment" I said to change the topic
" Ya we should enjoy ourselves" Nishi said
" So let's go to the dance floor" Dhruv said
" You guys go on, I will just get some water" I said walking out of the room to get myself some time away from these conversations.
I was filling a glass with water when Shaurya said from behind
"Wow Sanya!! You have got amazing convincing skills that Dhruv is still convinced you left him to focus on career"
I didn't wanted to have this conversation so was going in the room when Shaurya held my arm and said
"You can't go like this I am talking to you"
" I thought walking away was a way of talking Shaurya" I said taking my hand back
" And by the way I am not interested in talking to you, so please let me go"
" Like you listen to someone, you always do what you want to do, no matter what the other person thinks, feels or want, you will always do what you feel like , I just don't know how can someone think so highly of themselves " Shaurya said interrupting me and then slammed his hand on a nearby pillar
" Like you think about others before taking decisions " I said turning him from his shoulder to face me
" Look in my eyes and say you even for once care about what the other person thinks, what they feel, what they want, you just use them just the way you used Aditi" I said furiously
" Like you didn't used Dhruv" he said with a angry face and loud voice
"Shaurya" I shouted at him
" What Sanya?"
"Nothing Shaurya" I said and was about to leave when Shaurya grabbed my shoulder and placed me next to the pillar and stood just in front of me and said
" This is what you do just take revenge, by saying no because I said no, by walking away from conversations because I walked away from a conversation. You know what Sanya, what only matters to you is your ego and your satisfaction nothing else does"
