I will normally post once every 24 hours, or so. If I can't post a chapter the next day, it will be written in the A/n at the end of the previous chapter! I appreciate everybody commenting about wanting me to continue, it's very flattering but I do have a rough schedule I follow for posting! Normally I have 3-4 completed chapters drafted before posting, so I will know for sure if I can't post the next day so be sure to scan the A/n's if you notice no chapter update on regular time.

Basics

Please actually read the prologue 😭😭 I see some of you guys skipping it- it's relevant to the story!! It's basically another chapter, think of it like a chapter 0? It just sets the scene before you meet Floyd. I mean you can skip it I guess but you wouldn't get the full picture in the start.

So I know everyone has their key for what their abbreviations are, and I'm just going to put one too just in case :P

M/n = my name
(Y/n confuses me a lot 😭)
E/c = eye color
S/c = skin color
H/c = hair color
S/n = sisters name
B/n = brothers name
P/o = parent one
P/t = parent two
(I'm trying to keep the parents gn too but if I mess up pls lmk!)

I probably won't use most of these a lot aside from m/n if at all lol- but I may use ones that aren't here yet so I will just add them accordingly as I go along with the story so if you end up seeing something in the future that doesn't make sense, I probably updated this key with its meaning!

Background

I don't want to go into too much detail but in this story I will write about your family, and relationships to them. If that's not comfortable for you that's completely understandable but I will be making a plot for your insert in this story. So just a heads up!

Also smartphones exist in this story! As it is canon that the internet exists to an extent, I thought I would add it in, but they won't be mentioned too often don't worry.

Another thing- for this story to be morally okay your character will be an adult as Floyd is assumed to be in his 30s ☠️☠️. You can pick which age between that for the story as it will be mentioned that you are not a minor. I don't care if you read my story as a minor but I will not by any means be writing a story of a minor character and an adult character together. Even if it's fiction it's still weird to put minors and adults together (this is mostly directed at people who write ffs of literal children dating adults.)

I will be going off of a very vague baseline (the movie) but I won't be trying to basically write the scenes word for word, I'll be mixing some stuff around so if you notice some differences from the movies lines or time placements, most likely I did that on purpose. Though it is 1000% possible I mixed some stuff up lol so feel free to ask for clarification jic.
