"Okay.. open."

--

You opened your eyes to see where he brought you. "The mall?" You asked surprised. "Well.. girls like shopping right?" He asked. It's the thought that counts in the end, so you laughed and nodded. "Yes, I love shopping." "So enjoy a shopping spree on me!" He said as he got out and walked around the front of the car to open your door for you. You tried to protest but he shot you down every time. "Come on.. let me treat you!" Until finally, you gave up.

He gently held your wrist and led you into the mall. As you walked past all the different stores  you were like a little kid in a candy store. You were so excited that you didn't even notice he was barely looking where he was walking. His eyes were on you the whole time, he adored how happy you were and he loved that feeling. As you walked together his hand fell lower and lower, and neither of you noticed when your fingers naturally fit into place, as if meant to fit.

He led you straight into the exact center of the mall and let go of your hand. "You can go anywhere you want, and we have.." He checked his phone. "about 5 hours." He finished. "We're staying until it closes?" You asked, shocked. "Or until you get everything you want." He replied.

You conformed and made a silent promise to yourself, not to spend more than you have in your own bank account.

You also made a mental note that you wanted to take him into Victoria's Secret to see his reaction. It could give you an idea of how mature he is. First, though, you took him to Bath & Body Works. You picked out your favorite scented perfumes and bought him some men's cologne. Next, you decided to drag him to the food court and he paid for a plate of Chinese food for you both to share. After eating and buying a few cute outfits, it was time for the ultimate test.

You grabbed his wrist and led him to the other side of the mall, into Victoria's Secret. At first, he tried to wait outside, but you just pulled him further inside. He stuck right behind you like a bodyguard, or more of a loyal dog. He only looked at the pieces you were looking at, not wondering around or being curious, but also not acting disgusted. The best reaction , in your opinion, green flag.

So you walked out of the mall happily and drove him back to yours. On the way home, Eric seemed a lot more talkative. He told you today had been the best already and he was so excited to see how tonight would be, and he knows he's not going to want to leave..and you realized how attached, he had become.
