different with me

When you are with me,
you always look so awkward.
You try to make fun of me and tease me,
you say you are comfortable being around me,
you show me your weaknesses,
and your vulnerabilities,
knowing that I would never judge you.

But when you are with her,
you are always smiling,
pretending to be happy,
knowing that she might judge you.
Yet you look at her with glistening eyes,
as though you're seeing your whole world in front of you;
You listen to her as though your entire life
depends on what she says;
And you talk to her as though it was the
last conversation that you'd be having with her.

But when I see you,
my face lights up.
I lift my hand to wave at you,
as you look at me with mischievous eyes
while she sits next to you.
But you immediately look away,
entirely ignoring my presence.
So I sigh sadly and walk past you, and her.
