"You can't force me!" Elena yelled as Mateo threw his sister over his shoulder and walked out the front door

"Have a good day!" Isabela called out from the kitchen, drinking coffee, careful not to spill it on her scrubs

"Put me down!" Elena yelled as Mateo opened the passenger door and chucked in the seat

"There" Mateo smirked, closing the door and walking over to the drivers seat

Once he got in, he turned on the car and pulled out of the driveway, he turned to Elena who had her arms crossed "Hey, you'll be fine"

"No, no I will not. You know why? Because there are going to be other people there" Elena replied

"El, it's a high school" Mateo chuckled "Obviously there's gonna be other people there, but if you don't want to talk to them, just sit with us at lunch"

"Oh, I intend to" Elena said, rolling her eyes

"Hey, Scott" Mateo greeted his friend, Elena following behind him

"I got one yesterday but it healed as soon as it was done, how did you get yours to stay?" Scott asked

"You'll have to go to Derek, buddy. If I tell you how to do it, you won't want to. Anyway, I gotta show Elena where her classes are, I'll see you guys later" Mateo smiled, as Elena awkwardly waved

Once Mateo and Elena had walked away, Stiles sighed dramatically "Dude, Derek? Why? Why?"

Mateo walked behind Lydia and Allison into English and he took a seat next to Allison. He frowned at how awkward Scott and Allison were and only smiled to himself, finding it amusing

Mateo's phone buzzed in his pocket, confused, he pulled his phone and saw a text message from a random number. Maeve, who was sitting next to Mateo, frowned at phone and then looked up at Mateo with a shrug

"This is the last line of the first book we are going to read. It is also the last text you will receive in this class. Phones off, everyone" The teacher said, putting her own phone and silent

Mateo turned his phone on silent and shoved it back into his pockets, followed by the rest of the class
