"You really like him" Lydia smiled after Maeve had just finished ranting about Mateo
"Yeah, I'm scared of what Stiles would say" Maeve said "He's ridiculously overprotective"
Allison rolled her eyes "It doesn't matter what Stiles says, if you like him then go for it. I'm pretty sure Mateo likes you too, didn't he beat guy up because he touched you?"
Maeve smiled softly "Yeah he did. But that's not the point"
"Honey, you like Mateo, he likes you, you had sex! Date him" Lydia smiled back at her friend "If you don't, someone else will"
"Oh, my god. You're right" Maeve sighed, leaning back into her seat "Okay, when we get to the track meet, i'll tell him"
"If we get to the track meet, the traffic won't budge" Allison said

"I'm calling Lydia, Allison, and Maeve" Stiles said after Scott said Deaton wasn't picking up Scott calls
"How are they gonna help? They're back in Beacon Hills" Scott said
"They're not" Stiles said, holding his phone up to his ear "They've been following us for hours. Pathetic"

Lydia held her phone up to her ear as she smiled awkwardly "Hey, Stiles. Yeah, we're just about to walk into a movie, uh, you know the popcorn and- yeah, okay" Lydia sighed, putting the phone on speaker
"Okay, look, Scott's still hurt" Stiles said
"What do you mean still? He's not healing?" Allison asked
"No, he's not healing. I think he's actually getting worse, the bloods turning into a black colour" Stiles said, Maeve leaned over in her seat "Stiles, call Isabela, she'll know what to do"
"Mateo tried, he doesn't want to bother her because of Derek" Stiles sighed
"Well, what's wrong with him?" Lydia asked
"What's wrong with him?" Stiles repeated "I don't- do I had a PhD in lycanthropy? How am I supposed to know that?"
"We need to get him off the bus" Allison said
"And take him where? A hospital?" Lydia asked
"If he's dying, yeah" Allison responded, clearly stressed out
"Okay, look" Mateo spoke through the phone after wrestling Stiles for it "Stiles will try and get Coach to stop at a rest stop or something. After that, I'll try and take his pain where people can't see us"
"Well- Can I heal him?" Maeve asked
"No" Mateo sighed "It's from an Alpha, the only thing you can do is take his pain and that's too dangerous, you could get hurt"
"Well, so could you" Maeve argued
"Yeah, Maeve. I know, but it's better than you getting hurt. Okay, Stiles is fighting with Coach now, it's actually pretty funny. Oh, my god. Okay, we're going to pull over at the rest stop a mile up. Stiles just made Jared throw up everywhere" Mateo laughed
