"We love ourselves even after we make so many mistakes, so why do we hate others for one or two mistakes they've made"

_____

Ahmad's POV

I was going home after a tiring day at hospital. It has been a week since we were tied up together and from then we rarely communicate to each other. After a week I still couldn't find out the reason behind her crooked behaviour but yeah I have found out many things about her. She doesn't offer salah, she doesn't practise hijab, she's not so much into islam, she doesn't like cleanliness or may be she doesn't care if the things are scattered everywhere, she doesn't care about me, she doesn't know how to cook because she never ever show the concern to cook food. I either bring the food from restaurant or I cook it when I have enough time. I tried to talk to her but she doesn't even witness my presence. She does not even reply to my salam and when I am home she is indulged in her headphones plugged in. She and snowy doesn't get along and both are equally horrified when they witness each other.

It's not that I am picking up her bad habbits but there are certain things which should be changed according to islam. Why is that people know that they should cover their hair and body and still they don't do it? Why is that they know they should offer salah and still don't offer, knowing that it is the major difference between a believer and a non believer? Why is it hard for them to leave the warm blanket at fajr, and not difficult to wake up for their worldly jobs?

I reached home and after parking my car I went straight away to Ayesha's room as she must be back from school and must be hungry. She has joined school as a teacher after three days of our nikah. It's better she is indulged in her job or else she would have been bored staying back at home all alone.

"Ayesha I have brought foo..d" I trailed off as I entered the room. It was a mess. Ugh

"Ayesha" I called again while arranging the room and keeping things at it's place.

"Ayeshaaaaa" I shouted and searched everywhere in the house but she was no where to be seen. Where else she can be? I should better check on her school.

I went to her school and asked the warden about her but she said it's about an hour since she left.

I sat on my car's seat guessing where she could be. May be she went to her parent's house because they are back today from the trip. Yes why did I not think that before? I took out my mobile to call Ahmish

"Assalamu alaikum bro" I greeted as he picked up my call

"Walaikum assalam. I was about to call you" he informed me

"Umm why?" I asked
May be he had to call me to inform me about Ayesha.

"We are back and ammi and Abbu are missing Ayesha so we'll be coming at the dinner" he said with excitement. I guess he's missing her too but he doesn't mention it.
Wait then where's Ayesha? Oh no what will I tell her family?

"Hello bro are you there? Are you not happy that we are coming to visit you? Are we disturbing the newly married couple?" He snapped me out of my worries and I could sense his smirk

"Haha no bro you people are always welcome to my place. It will be honour to have you all as a guest" I replied back

"Okay then see you soon. Allah Hafiz" with that he cut off the call

I just sat on the car thinking what to do. Where should I search her? Where she can be? Did she ran away leaving me behind? I called her several times but she didn't answer my call. Should I tell her family? I called the watchman to ask whether she was home but she wasn't there yet.
