Aaron's pov

The sun started to blind me as I slowly opened my eyes. I looked over to where Aphmau was sitting but she was gone. How long had I been asleep? I stretched and looked around the room and froze when I saw a bouquet of flowers.

Who brought those? My vision started to blur and I felt nauseous. I pressed the nurse call and the door soon opened and a nurse walked in.

"Oh good, you are awake. What did you need hon?" She asked and I couldn't speak.

The only thing I could do was cover my mouth and stomach. She nodded and quickly got a bag.

After a few minutes I felt better and I am not going to even explain what happened.

I reached up to my head and felt the bandage wrapped around my whole head and my ribs hurt. I must have broke some.

"The doctor will be in soon." The nurse said before giving me a glass of water and changing the IV.

I started to feel sleepy but I forced my eyes open. Where was Aphmau? I glanced at the clock on the wall and it was already 12:00 pm so she must be getting lunch.

I lay my tired head back onto the pillow and rubbed my eyes. I miss Aphmau. I just really want to hug her and kiss her.

"Thank you doctor." A strangely familiar voice said.

I sat up and froze when I an all too familiar face. I frowned and she smiled.

"Aaron!" My mom yelled and ran up to be giving me a crushing hug.

"G-get off!" I growled and pushed her away.

What was she doing here? Is........is this the reason Aphmau isn't here?

"Aaron?" She asked as she slowly touched the bandage around my head.

I slapped her hand away and glared at her. "What are you doing here?" I growled.

She smiled a sweet fake smile. "I'm here to bring you home." My mom said.

My eyes widened and clenched my fists. How did she know I was here? Wait.....my phone. They got her number from my phone!? Stupid doctors.

I rubbed my eyes and glanced up at my mom.

"I guess you have already met Aphmau." I said irritated. I never wanted Aphmau to meet my mom.

"I already told you. I am never going home." I growled and she let out a sigh.

"Listen Aaron. I am sorry for abandoning you in Military School but I need you back." She put her hands together.

I raised an eyebrow. She is so fake. "No, I am living just fine in Phoenix Drop and the only reason you want me home is so I can take over dads company."

My mom bit her lip and looked down. "Y-you think this is the only reason I came here?" She asked as her shoulders shook.

I crossed my arms and sighed. "Just stop. Crying never got you anywhere so just......stop."

"Aaron please! I just want my baby back." My mom raised her head and tears were running down her face.

She was trying to make me feel guilty. I was way too used to this. I didn't want to take this.

I pulled the covers off and I groaned when I saw I was in a hospital gown.

"Where are my cloths?" I asked and my mom went to one of the cupboards and pulled out a change of cloths.

"I'm getting changed so leave." I said as I took the cloths.

My mom nodded and quickly left the room. I got changed into a red sweatshirt that was open in the front and black jeans that were ripped at the knees.

The doctor came into the room and smiled at me.

"I see you are awake and ready to leave." The doctor chuckled. I only nodded and rolled up my sleeve. I almost forgot about the IV.

"Here, let me help." The doctor said and took the IV out and I slipped the tube out of my shirt.

The doctor put a bandaid on my arm where the needle once was and I took a deep breath. I hated needles.

"When can I leave?" I asked and the doctor smiled.

"Well you are lucky. You only broke two ribs and there was no concussion only a lot of bleeding so you can probably return home either tomorrow or this evening." The doctor said and I nodded.

The doctor left and my mom came back in with my phone. I snatched it out of her hands and saw Aphmau hadn't texted FC at all. I let out a sigh of relief and put my phone in my pocket.

"Mom. Like I said, I am not returning to Falcon Claw. I finally have the girl of my dreams and you are not ruining it." I said sternly and my mom frowned.

"Why doesn't she come with us?" My mom asked and I shook my head.

"Like her mom would EVER let Aphmau return back to our hometown. Aphmau's mom would KILL me." I said and smiled a little when I thought of Aphmau.

I am not leaving her again. I then remembered the promise ring I bought. I started digging through my pocket and I smiled when I felt the ring.

Then, the door opened and I saw a familiar girl that I was happy to see.

"A-Aaron?"
