Celestials

He admired the moon;
whilst I, the sun.

And maybe because we loved them too much,
we suddenly became them ourselves.

Chasing each other endlessly,
But never got the perfect timing to meet.

And even if we do in an eclipse,
The sky itself,
bleeds for our cruel union,
that was never meant to last.

Because together we are darkness,
In a world of people needing light.
