Reminiscing
Take me back to the day when we met.
In the cold light of the sun, one morning of December.
Marching Marine squads behind us, shouting rhyming hymns that I still remember.
Take me back to the night of February.
The starry sky witnessing how you told me you were falling inlove. How you hummed me songs out of tune, but could never be compared to any lullaby.
Take me back to you.
To the days when there is still us.
To the nights where we promised,
To fulfill our dreams while holding hands.
To when this love is still burning,
When these hearts still not broken.
Take me back.
No.
Please, come back.
