I still search for you,
In a crowd of strangers.
In empty cups and imminent dangers,
In old photographs and new lovers.
In setting suns and pastel skies,
Even in plain words locked in lines.
In the saddest songs and happiest places,
In sweet novels and bitter faces.

And I will still search for you —
Even long after we stopped craving for each other,
Or in years thereafter, you'd no longer remember.
Because my love, I must admit;
Despite the tears and heartache, you are still my favorite.
