Barricade

She lived within a howling blizzard for too long — the frostbite became her fire, the darkness her only light. Wherever she pass by snow covers, whatever she touched became lifeless.
But then he walked into her season.
He was like the sun and rain combined.
Wherever he passed flowers grew, whatever he touched life came about. So she wanted to feel him — touch the life he gives.
She wanted to end her long days of living in the cold.
She wanted to caress him,
but she was afraid.
So she hid in her cave and watched him from a distance.
She found solace of admiring him from afar, content with her cold and barren being.
She knew winter can never meet summer, for one of them might have ruin the other.
