Our Story

You were my once upon a time
Though never my happily ever after.
The prince who awoke me,
When I pricked my finger;
The guy who took me,
To a magical carpet in air.
The prince whom I traded,
My voice for feet;
But never the beast,
That beauty ends up with.
We are a sweet yet bitter,
Graceful disaster.
A fairytale of imagination,
With ink and letters as the sole foundation —no chance of being real.
Yet it was enough for me — it has been.
To be loved by you,
Just in the pieces of my poetry.
