Selcouth

I bet you won't believe what I'll tell you. I won't either if I'm in your shoes — in your time.
This setting you have been in, feels strange. Unfamiliar. Rare.
But I have to tell you, it is marvelous in its own uniqueness.

It has been for a very long time that you kept convincing yourself, this pain will end and the howling blizzard will come to a halt — but it did not. And I tell you, it still won't.
Honestly, I don't think it ever will.
The hail will be worst.
It will be freezing to the point where it will numb you — that even the warmest heat can't melt the ice.
But that's a good thing.
For when you feel that numbness, you will no longer feel the pain.
In the miniscule of steps, you will learn to walk further despite the cold ground.
You will suddenly learn to enjoy the cold, catching snowflakes as they fall — slowly realizing there is something in this storm you are in.

Eventually you'll know there is beauty in every disaster.
There is peace in chaos.
There is light in the darkest moments. And all you have to do, is look.
